I first heard Matthew Kelly over 20 years ago at St Mary's. Changed my life..."our lives change when our habits change". Since then, I have been praying for my husband, my family. Special intentions to St. Jude and St. Monica 🩵🙏🩷
Thank you dear Father Meyer! Thank you for planting that thought! Reflecting ! Thank you for always planting good seeds for us all to reflect on Father Meyer!🕊️🕊️🕊️

June 11-13 Shavuot, Feast of Weeks, Transfiguration and ascension as Divine Spirit of Prophet Moses from the Pillars of Hercules, Second Exodus, fulfilling the Plan of God with Israel.😮😳😲
I struggle with this the most. "I vant to be alone". My family does not want to hear from me, about God. They have all left the faith. Their children, my neices and nephew, don't believe in God, heaven or hell. I always say the wrong thing, even if it is not about God. Everything that comes out of my mouth is "uncharitable" or wrong. I am horrible at talking and expressing myself. For me, I pray for others and for people in purgatory. Mary Magdalen spent her life in a cave. There are cloistered nuns who have an impact and do Gods will by praying and sacrifising. I'm just not an evangelizer.

Same with me, you’re not alone. Still, God delights in us. Trust in Him that all will be well in the end.

Evangelizing doesn't have to be saying the right thing in the right way, sometimes it's just being there and putting forth a good example. Family members are particularly tricky. Be joyful around them, have a crucifix in every room, and pray for them. It can't be fake. I'm not saying you're fake, but the effort has to be genuine and it can take a long time. Family sees through that. Since coming back to the church, I've become more peaceful and certain Members of my family have noticed it. Let them experience you in a wholesome and peaceful way. Eventually they should notice the change and ask you about it. Jesus told Simon Peter he'd become a fisher of men, not a hunter of men. Fishing is delicate. And sometimes the fish gets away, but someone else may pull in that same fish. If enough people fish the same waters, eventually you catch all of the fish. 😉 Hopefully this helped a little. It helped me to put it into words.

I’m in the same boat with you! My family is the same, and most of my friends are some form of Protestant so they look at me like I’m kinda weird. At least in terms of religion.

Rejoice in your suffering and it will give something for the unbeliever to ponder.

Thank you for sharing!
I just learned that my father passed away yesterday. I have tried to bring him to Jesus. He wouldn't even hear of it. He died with the same attitude. He was such a good man. One of the best men I ever knew. He followed Christ's teachings more than most Christians do. But he wouldn't hear about God, or Jesus. I tried. I prayed. Nothing. Tomorrow I go to his funeral. And I feel I failed him.

We are not the judge. Continue to surrender his life and heart to the Lord. God's mercy is beyond our imagining

I'm so very sorry. But if he believed in God and was a good man, you didn't fail him. Pray for him as you surrender him to our God ❤

Pray Divine Mercy Chaplets for him. Father Chris Alar has a video about his grandmother who committed suicide and he was told God works outside of time. St Faustina’s Diary mentions Jesus appearing to the dying person 3 times to allow each person to change their mind. Don’t despair also offer masses as you are able. Pray. Pray. Pray Bless you

@@barblacy619 Thank you so much for your words. I have been praying the Divine Mercy chaplet for him (and many other intentions) for years. Thank you so much for reminding me of all that. Grief has a way of making me a bit stupid. Thank God for helpful brothers and sisters! May the Lord bless you always abundantly! ❤️
You have good ideas, but this does not exist for me. I have invited others to come to my home and all I get are excuses. They come out my way to garage sakes but never to my home. I have visited them several times, yet not one person has come to my home. You have a blessed day. I just pray for them and let them be OK. 😢
