Looks cool and I can't wait to get a MicroLED TV for myself - but I feel like the media is lagging behind at this point in time. Ironically, I came here after seeing your old "Why 4K discs are dying" video. I think the current state of the physical media is on its way out, and personally, I am happy with it. However, the streaming agent achieved quite the same quality yet - and is always dependant on your internet connection. Wonder what this will lead to - hopefully some new format few years down the road.

I do hope that there are improvements in streaming quality for movies and TV. In general I’m pretty happy with TV quality and most of the time movies are pretty decent too. It will be nice when a stream is indistinguishable from physical media though. Disc media will continue to shrink till it’s purely a niche product. 4k disc itself is already a small niche… but it will contract even further. There will be changes, but it’s tough to predict exactly what those will be without access to the back rooms of the large consumer electronics producers.
