Hello..... My wife's water broke around at week 30 but stopped there after and didn't have any contractions. We were discharged from hospital after completing antibiotics and steroids course. Performed ultrasound, AFI was around 10.3cm...... Is this type of situation normal?

That's not true! My sister has given birth to a ten pound baby with no problems. Het next pregnancy the doc said her baby would be too big and tried to forve her into a c section. That baby came out only 7 pounds. C sections are for medical emergencies! Not to prevent from inconveniencing a doctor.

I was 4.10 at 31wk 5days. How much did your baby weight at birth? They tested me for gestational diabetes twice and the baby was negative. Looks like it’s genetics bc his father was 11lbs. I’m scared :/

Your OB should have the techs measure the organs via ultrasound. It’s an estimate though.

Um Noura This is misinformation. Do not press the baby’s head. The skull will round out and go back to a normal shape on it’s own without interference. Be safe and look after your babies.

Is her skin pink because she’s a white baby? I’m confused when people make hear video and describe the baby as if babies don’t come in other colors. I literally am trying to understand if all babies are pink or if that statement was in regards to a white baby. No disrespect, first time mother with due date of August 1st.

X i know its applicable to both white and mixed race babies. Im mixed and every baby in our family (no matter how dark they get later) came out looking almost white and kinda pink, blue, and purple. Mixed race babies also have a higher rate of jaundice for some reason, but its nothing to worry about. I'm not sure how full black babies look in the womb. I've always wondered the same things about these videos. Its a legit question because white is the standard (including in healthcare) unfortunately. I'm thinking that maybe black babies do look pink too because when burned or cut the meat is pink under the skin. The babies at that stage have almost clear skin so I suppose its the skin underneath thats giving off the pink color until the skin is fully developed around 34 weeks.
