I don't care what a person believes they are or thinks what they are, the are free to do whatever they want, what pisses me off is them demanding that i believe what they want, I'm free to have my own opinion. Stop demanding that people bow down to a very small group of people. They can believe what the hell they want just leave me the fuck alone

I've got a plan. If you espouse an idea that's Christian (if you lean that way) and someone gets triggered by your Christian point/idea, just call them Christophobic. Immediately demonizes them and they'll have to shut up. Am I doing this right?

It’s more about respect than belief. Like, we may not believe in the same god, but I can still respect your religious views, rather than trying to convince you you’re wrong or telling you this isn’t the right church for you. Even if your religion is a very small one. Likewise, there’s the basic respect of acknowledging it when someone tells you that he’s a he or she’s a she. Is someone asking you for more than that?

I remember having a conversation 10 years ago with my late father, during the race riots in Baltimore. They actually had to lock the gates at Camden Yards to prevent people from leaving the Orioles game because it was so dangerous. I remember asking my dad in all seriousness 'they're starting to call everything racist and it's getting to a point where the word is losing its meaning. What happens in 10 years? At this rate, calling someone racist will mean next to nothing.' Here we are 10 years later...and calling someone the 'r' word, like I predicted, means next to nothing. Remember when the accusation of being racist required a PR team and a public statement?

12:09 I think you're mistaken. Women have more rights than before, but they never had less than men - if you actually look at the history, half the story has been left out. And most women were never feminists. As far as toilets go, you say it is ridiculous but it actually seems like a tough one to me, no obvious answer. Lesbians are allowed in women's toilets, and gays in men's. People with criminal records as well. And most criminals target men, as the risk and punishment is less. Meanwhile I have been in large co-ed restrooms abroad, and felt perfectly safe, almost like there was more pressure for proper behavior and looking at your feet not other people. Maybe if the general trans craze dies down, and the medical side is way more regulated, we will find that there are actually very few genuine trans people, and nobody will care where they go. I don't know. It's not simple.

A lot of people today are such oversensitive, easily offended, fragile little snowflakes who will run crying to their mommy over the most ridiculous thing! I sometimes like to play with the thought of "what if people had been like they are today, back during WW1 or WW2, or even worse, back in medieval times" The human race would have been damn near extinct if that had been the case! And I dread what will happen if WW3 breaks out today, which is looking more and more likely by the day!

People are far too fragile these days, theyve lost the ability to laugh at themselves.

feelings should never trump rights , i have a freedom of speech , unless of course i say something that may offend someone else , see how crazy that is ?. nowhere in the constitution do you have the right to not be offended!. i will never submit to the lunatic fringe , it only encourages them to see how far they can go!. if people don't confront these clowns we'll all be goose stepping soon enough.

"Woke" until very recently, was a seldom used black term. Now, it is completely generic and can include anything you decide. If your TV is on the fritz? It's a woke TV. It would actually be much nicer if Americans could develop much more extensive vocabularies, that include accurate descriptive nouns and adjectives, and didn't rely on meaningless slang.

Agreed, it was used in the black community to essentially mean introspective and open to learning more/ speaking the truth. It is now almost a pop culture word in the way its being used. I am not even sure what the word is supposed to mean these days, it seems like its just a new word to use against people you fundamentally disagree with.

@@Billy-zv6gv Sorry, but poor analogy. Black, and historically negro, because many African slaves came from Spanish speaking countries of the west, has been a long time accepted term referring to people with common anthropological characteristic and genealogy. Easily identifiable, understandable and accepted by those referenced. Not equivalent to some ambiguous subjective term, often just used as a pejorative.

It’s not even that it was seldomly used. It’s that it’s entire context has shifted from being mindful of actual injustices to being ever vigilant of *perceived* injustice whether it actually exists or not.
