Ruben Frias 20 hours ago Britec, today I turned on my laptop and I check updates available and it is working now; now it is downloading windows 11, version 22H2. Thanks very much For some reason yesterday after I ran the software reset windows update tool, it did not work; but now it is working.

As someone else has commented I don't know why you don't have more subscribers than you do mate I always make for your videos every day as a matter of routine and this video was not disappointing. I have said it before and again I have followed your tutorials for many years and they have got me out of many situations that I could not fix myself and I am wondering if there are any situations that you do not know how to fix😃

Thank you so much for this. I still encounter the same problem. I tweaked something on my PC. Before I cannot remove my company's control (organization) on my personal laptop after logging in my work email. But I was able to remove it. After that, I can no longer get updates. Help. Any suggestions?

Can I please ask if any of those numbered choices would help my computer? I have windows 10. It downloads the updates and restarts, tries to install but always fails. It then puts it back to where it was before it tried to update. Then I get the x many days without having to update. Once those days are up it forces the update again. And it does it all again with the same result. It's been going on for months. I really like your videos. You explain things so well. I enjoy them.

I am running win 10 and having had a fresh install done, the option to change the "pause" updates bit is greyed out, also stating I have exceeded the maximum number of pauses, but the same message as above is there too

I just wanted to know why do amd drivers prevent windows from updating if I decide to update my amd drivers first

Hey, this is not related to the video but I have a problem with the windows factory reset. When I did the usual factory reset, when it finished it didn't make me sign in or anything and it just bring me to the normal welcome screen and made my sign in, I was confused and when I tried signing in it didn't work and now I'm stuck here. Does anyone know how to fix it

Sadly I see that we need a whole bunch of add on software to make windows 11 work. I am staying on windows 10, even after stopping their support.

I reinstalled a fresh version of windows twice, had to put my windows key in and all. I did nothing but install windows updates, no programs, just straight to windows update and it did this to itself both times. It's was fine with no message and once it installed the 20H2, that message shows up. There are no error codes, troubleshooters find no issues. Please any ideas?

Done everything you showed on your video and I thought I was getting somewhere, but I'm afraid to say it has not resolved my problem. Where should I go from here if you can advise, thanks.

Have tried this but it didn't rectify the issue on Windows 10, the same problems as stated before

IMO you did the first restart to soon ... There was still updates being download and some being installed ... I usually wait till they're ALL done ... that way you dont get corrupt files again. 😜 ... I actually consider that a flaw be MS to allow you to restart before every file is done and installed. 😠

Hey, when I try to stop windows update services it says "Windows Update Services could not be stopped"...is there any solution for it?!!

Never had a window error but have had Micromush shut down my WinLive Email claiming suspicious activity a few times because I have Update turned off. Found out all I need to do is manually update the latest security patch and my email returns as if nothing wrong.

The Windows update is so antiquated. Android is a better operating system. The problem with the update is if it doesn't work correctly, your computer becomes a slug. This looks great. I will be trying it. It's cool that there is a tool to help with this. My update is trying to update an anti-virus that my Windows does not even have installed on it.

I downloaded the tool, I runned it as administrator, didn't work fail, says press any key and exits without any repair at al. Any other advice

After i reset the update installer when i restart it says getting windows ready don’t turn off you computer its not going can someone help

sigh.... still there. I don't have any updates to install. It gives me the message though. I removed the update, reinstalled it. restarted the update service manually and with a software like this, but nothing. >.

it still gave me the error and this is from a pc that was just installed fresh windows from current media creation tool.

funny thing is i had this happen to me it kept failing an update nothing worked even reinstalling windows 11 in windows 11 didnt fix it i had to disable avast and let windows defender be the many antivirus just to get updates to work then enabled avast again no clue why that was my cause but it was edit: that kb5014019 update is that one that kept failing same with kb5007651

Windows must come up with fault free updates at the least. We want to work on the PC not run maintenance all the time. High time world got something better.

i did all of that and now it says im not up to date and then still says the missing important security and quality fixes

Sadly it couldn't help me with my update problem. I think my issue was caused when I cloned my HDD over to an SSD as the trouble started soon after that. Ah well, back to the drawing board

The tool didnt work but doing it myself from description is now working, i think some services were stopped on my pc but luckily the commands have turned them on (RUN CMD AS ADMIN)

did not work for me had to run from microsoft site windows reset and update tool , worked a treat ...

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP , MY PC KEEPS FREEZING UP ITS A DELL OPTI PELX 7040 SFF . THIS ALL STARTED AFTER I MISS AND OPENED ALL OF MY SAVED BOOKMARKS. @@nintenja40 you most likely have to reset your windows, because there is probably a corrupted file that’s unfindable without advanced programming You also need to do it the custom way because the file literally does not allow you to restart regularly… or ur issue is different for u, idk x)
