I honestly wish there was a "bad babysitter" ending where the baby gets pissed off and kills you if you interact with the stuff like the oven and the toilet one too many times. They could even have the baby's facial expressions change as you get closer to unlocking it. Level 1: Smile Level 2: Neutral Level 3: Crying Level 4: Frowning Level 5: Black silhouette with glowing orange eyes And then if you attempt to torture the baby once more, you get that jumpscare and a game over.

I think it'd be cool if there was a really difficult to achieve hidden ending where, if you are super nice to the baby no matter what they do, they learn what love is and become a normal happy baby.

It feels like they have the groundwork for this already, with how some actions make the baby happy and others make it sad. If there were counters adding up both sets of points you'd have a relationship system. Keep your relationship with the baby good, and you unlock the special ending. I'd actually like to see two "good" endings, one like you described, and another where you keep a good relationship with the baby while encouraging its lovecraftian nature, which ends up with the baby becoming a full-fledged eldritch god who appoints his old babysitter as his high priest. 😆

For those wondering, the "Pickman" in " Pickman's Madness" is a recurring character in Lovecraft's stories, an artist who painted nightmarish stuff who escaped from our world by going down through tunnels and became a ghoul who eats the dead.

Pickman is from "Pickman's Model" and he appears again as a ghoul in "Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath" although it's unclear if he really is a ghoul in another world or if the protagonist just dreamed that up as an explanation of where he disappeared to.

@@NA-AN I actually didn't know Carcosa was in Lovecraft. I thought it was from the Hanged King SCP entirely. I know a bit about the Lovecraft mythos, but I haven't read any of the stories or the King in Yellow in a few years. I still remember quite a bit but not everything.

I feel like the devs watched the last time Manly played this game and decided to enable him...

I didn't know the game was called The Baby in Yellow. I had such a jaw-dropping moment when I heard the phrase on the cassette player and recognized the reference. Now the game makes a lot more sense suddenly. (and then Manly nonchalantly points out all the symbols I had missed)

I can’t get over how the oven exploding made him react like that it’s probably the most “scared” I’ve seen in awhile

Me with my sisterly instincts. Every time manly threw the child around I was both laughing and tensing up like crazy, in part because of how serious dude sounds while doing stuff like flushing the baby down the toilet… and because my humor is broken As my mother would say, “you laugh to not cry”

I wanna hear our ManlyNadassHeroes's origin story. It's definitely involved taxes bills bad takeout and Sephorot stabbing him that one time...

They should have a sequel where the player will liberate the baby's victims and destroy the baby once and for all

@@lunerlilly Pretty much every law I've been able to find that forbids the portrayal of children being harmed in a fictional context only applied to movies or television, and they were all repealed before video games were even invented. It would probably guarantee an M/18+ rating but there is nothing actually forbidding people from doing it.

This isn't a game. It's just first person footage of Manly being the perfect father/babysitter.

I will always love when you treat the baby in this game like a doll. Just throws it across the room. Ahh I love watching your stuff my guy

Wow this game just gets more content! Also it's fun how the devs knew players like to bully the baby so the added new creative ways to do so.

There was a game called “who I See” with a weird second person style of writing, that also got updated with more characters/areas, that I love enjoy seeing you play!!

I find it interesting that durring the escape sequence, every to do list after being sent back to the appalment home, everything on the list just goes red saying that you failed them. I like to imagine that that list is set up by the baby himself to make you stay.

This is just Manly being a baby sister for some super villains in the Incredibles universe.

It could just be by pure coincidence but the monster version of the baby looks alot like the monster from the movie 9. Part of me was always fascinated with that movie. With the way the baby looks like with the update, it just gave me nostalgic vibes 😅

The King in Yellow is Robert Bloch's, and wasn't really a lovecraftian horror until people just grafted tentacle to it unoriginally

I was not expecting more of this game, but I'm glad to see this. The new route is what any sane person would do, and props to the sitter for actually going through all that.

Dang I hate it when I’m babysitting a baby and it turns into an eldritch being.

Damn I love Manly's voice so much, you can hear when he reads something from the game or leaves a comment, I love how you can hear difference between characters and between intonations, oh and do we talk about when he just panics and gets cut off
