Well They could, but: A) there will be problems a simple computer can't solve- humans still haven't cracked how thoughts work and machines, even now, don't have capabilities to make concious decisions like humans. B) Developing such shits are more expensive than doing it the 40K servitor way, but the one inside is not lobotomized before hand. @@masterzoroark6664 well... no... it's fun for the setting but not fun and practical in reality, first humans are more squishy than electronics, if we can protect the human, we would think that we can protect the electronic better, think starlink sattelites, Also a democratic nation (shown last of the video, "election cycle", would prioritize NOT sending humans, although it could happen in a twisted society or a critically endangered society,) and unless it is done by an unscrutable organization(oceangate uhem), you would also think it has backups and has auxillary life support or emergency life support where we flash hybernate the person if the life support is endangered.... @@masterzoroark6664 in the game it is quite simple..., maybe there is some cosmic horror that cause specifically complex computers to fail... while sparing biologically complex computers, the universe is being racist lol Though with all this settings, one wonders, why is there only cosmic horrors and no "cosmic angels", one form of cosmic angel can be written as this, angelarium of revolt: power breaker, for we can fight anything and succeed no matter how powerful and different we are, like a character defeating the writer or an atom defeating an ontological concept, it is the force behind instability and imperfection, for something truly good cannot be forced in anyway We may create a character, but that character may just be an existence making itself exist through us, probably and vise versa, In some sense power itself is not intrinsically good, it forces something upon another consciousness afterall Well idk if there is other angels that can aid us lol, perhaps meta- is another one, self referential, self awareness, idk hehe

But accurately enough the sun sound was related to another sun. Saturn was less accurate since it was related to a blue celestial body without any rings. Jupiter's sounds where related to the planet on the title screen which is extremely similar to Jupiter. Venus was related to a grayish planet that was really small on the navigation screen so it was also accurate. Except for the sounds of io/europa(again cannot remember well) they where placed on planets instead of moons-

The note about mimicry makes me believe that "planet" at the end is actually the creature itself, not just the lure. The "worm" extending out from it at 38:03 is possibly its tongue or a grapple grabbing your ship. Also I like to believe that the note about how a cell can look like a supernova, or our eyes like a nebula, implies that perhaps the entire galaxy is part of an infinitely large organism. The creature could be something like a white blood cell that patrols and kills any foreign organism. The Magella and to a lesser extent the MC's mission is to find habitable planets to colonise. In other words, their ships are like foreign organisms invading the area to help humanity spread like a cancer.

Balancing power reserves, hearing radio signal and taking photos only to realize planets seemed to be screaming like at 15:41 or were only shells.
Ooof that is creepy for sure. I had a feeling I knew where this was going when they mentioned mimicry.
What you should have done on the last mission was lock your course in on navigation, then go into the power menu, turn off life support, turn on thrusters while keeping navigation on, go back to navigation and hit "travel". Less time with the life support off if you lock in your course before you turn life support off. Unless it forgets your destination every time you leave the navigation menu? Edit: you figured that out at the very end and didn't even need to turn life support off! Great!

Hmmm... people are baffled by that empty shell planet you found, the one some people said looks like "dyson sphere". Looking that there are mimic planets- I have a theory that this was a skelleton of one of them. And how are you going back home? You ain't- you are basically a more concious servitor.
