It's astonishing how differently people treat us as a size 10 versus size 14. I was raised to treat everyone the same, but sadly for many, they didn't get the memo.

For me it was both better and way, way worse when I was skinny. Sure I don't get free stuff anymore, but I still get flirted with, people still take my cart back for me. People still hold the door, and allow me to pass them in the aisle. They still frequently jump in to help at the first sign of confusion or inability to reach a product. And I'm not just fat, I'm obese. Size 18 (just lost 20lb!), and very short, so I look even fatter. When I was skinny, people fell over to do those things for me. But men also aggressively treated my body as an object without any regard and women aggressively approached me about how terrible I was for getting surgeries I obviously never had because I had barley even reached teen years (which continued to happen until I got very fat). Maybe it's because I never lost my skinny attitude. Maybe it's because I buy clothes that fit and make me feel comfortable. Idk. The treatment is different, but being delulu still works exceedingly well.

@@RP-uu7oq It pains me to hear about women being cruel to other women. I would never comment on a person's body unless it was a compliment. I believe you about the confidence part. I have a big friend who has NEVER been fat shamed, yet I've been shamed by family, friends, strangers since 12 years old, no matter what size I was. Sometimes I wonder what mean things people would say if I was thin. 🙄

@@Mmmmkaaay They will definitely say mean things babes. You're around the wrong crowd. Even if they're nice when you get skinny, what will happen if you get fat again? Positioning is just as important, if not moreso than all the other advice. Get delulu now. You're obviously gorgeous or why would you be so kind and loving? You deserve self love. You deserve to feel soft and glowy with moisturizer. You deserve spa days. You deserve hot outfits that compliment your shape and make you feel lovely at the grocery store. You deserve it when a man holds the door for you *simply* because of your gorgeous light. I'm rooting for you bestie 💅. And thank you for being so kind 😭🫶

Yep, I was 160 and came down to 135 and I still wanted to lose more weight. My sister and friends all gave me grief and told me I was anorexic and I cared too much and didn’t respect my feelings about wanting to do better. I cut people out of my life. I’m 5’4 and very curvy so weight shows on me. My parents and a lot of relatives all pass from cancer. If possible I’d like to eradicate that possibility for my future.

At the end of the day, they were just jealous that you were doing some thing that they couldn’t, and you were holding a mirror to them. Looking at you and your size force them to realize that they either have low self-esteem and only feel secure around people they think are beneath them OR that their size is unappealing. You don't have to be the most drop dead gorgeous person in the world. But if you put yourself together and show you care about your appearance, it sends a very clear message to others without even saying a word. If you care about your appearance and take care of yourself, what else do you take care of. If you take yourself seriously, what else to do you take seriously. If you're confident people will flock to you. If you look put together and have finesse, people will want to be around you. You will become a magnet.

Please do glow up but please be mindful of the limits of enhancing your physical appearance. Do not depend on it. One, it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are, you will be old news to anyone who sees you on a regular basis. Your beauty can be downgraded by lacking internal growth and beauty. Having a bad personality or being stuck in various forms of trauma will cancel your best efforts and cause you to always have attraction but no connection with others. Looking pretty will NOT automatically attract good men. It will attract men. period. You can still be mistreated, used, or be hurt and win Miss America. Beauty does not entitle you to anything. Look good for yourself FIRST. Do not try to look like someone else: figure out YOUR style.,

Females that I work with in my office make comments about me all of the time and look at me in a negative way because im the only one who is overweight doesn't get her hair and nails done and it really sucks. I'm a very down to earth person so it was never something I felt that I needed to do. One day, the nicer one of the group basically pulled me aside and said my husband needs to let me have a self care day because she was worried im not prioritizing myself especially since im a mom. Truly that perspective changed what I thought was vanity and rudeness to am I actually giving myself free time.

Found you on Hailey Gamba’s video. Absolutely love the idea of ELEVATING and ENHANCING what you already have, rather than trying to change your looks to suit arbitrary external standards. I want to pour into the best external version of ME, rather than trying to get a body shape that isn’t natural for me, hair and makeup that doesn’t suit my personality and clothes that aren’t cohesive with my lifestyle. It’s also interesting how different people can be in what they find attractive. For example, you said you aren’t an ‘8’ but I looked at you and immediately found you to be very above average in terms of attractiveness.

@@alexdalton4535 true. I have no idea why tbh. I mean everybody i see on yt go to gym and watch what they eat... here almost nobody goes to gmy and also eats bread f9r breakfast (mandatory), pasta and even soup with pasta and bread haha still skinny. I would say its walking I mean we walk everwhere and most historic city centers where majority people go to work cant be appoached with cars only pedestrians.. so i walk for like 3 hours total min a day but you dont feel it hope this helps so yea you would get skinny in europe haha

Some encouragement, it is possible to go from thin to thick, longer hair naturally. Even with fine hair. This was my hair goal in 2023 and the difference is huge. Natural and heat less care worked wonders. Time time and work, but completely doable. Bonus advice- get yourself a pretty mirror. Makes hair and make time more fun. Framing the beautiful woman you are.

Another thing that people always forget about skincare is what they put in their body. A lot of sugar can cause acne. Get the right vitamins into your body and drink more water than soda. Try to sweat as well by moving your body. You will notice the difference when people notice it

first of all its the bare minimum to drink water I dont know why u have to tell people this unless u weren't doing it urself and I dont understand people that drink soda I dont like soda never did from the age of 16 and on to me it felt like I was drinking sugar when I could eat if from candy whenever I felt thirsty I drank water but water doesnt get rid of acne it just helps drinking it for ur body to not feel dehydrated

Beware before whitening your teeth using whitening toothpaste or something very exfoliating because it causes sensitivity and reveals the inner layers which is actually yellow in colour so it will be a loop . So consider decreasing consumption of substances that can cause yellowing. Just saying incase anyone needed to know 😁

Your teeth absorb stains. I had Zoom whitening done last year, and I was told not to drink coffee, eat chocolate, and stay away from red sauce for 3 days. That way, my teeth wouldn't absorb the stains again. Now, the whitening tooth paste work the way it's supposed to.

Im buying better clothes, picking the ones that really fit my body well and colors that look nice on me. I feel much classier. I used to look messy and didnt really care. The only thing I still struggle with is my hair. It bounces around everywhere and not in a cute manner. Its less frizzy and more volume (I have wavy thin hair) but now I guess I need to learn how to style it. At age 33.

What you said about how you dress is backed by science! They found that the more skin you show the more likely you are to be seen as short term partner (fling, one night stand) and the less flesh you show the more likely you will be perceived as a long term partner (wife.) The book is why men want sex and women need love. It also has a section that helps you to increase your mating rating, it breaks down what men and women prioritize in both a short term and long term partner
