I am 37 years old, a recovering addict 2 months and 2 years clean, after almost 20 years of alcohol, sex and drugs abuse. For many years I pretty much copied what I learned from my mom about beauty and makeup. During the first year of rehabilitation I was diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis. All of a sudden I was instructed to stop using everything, from shampo to nail polish. It was then, that I started learning, reading, watching, and after some time - experimenting and practicing. I was lucky enough to have found not only a new hobby, but a new and powerful tool to empower myself, raise my confidence, self esteem and general health. Your videos, dear Wayne, differ from almost every other influencer. From someone that learned almost obsessively, and gained her practical knowledge and skills within one year of non stop KZread research - I have to say that the depth of your knowledge, the simplicity and Elegance of your style, the accuracy of your methodology, I mean... Seriously, you are ONE OF A KIND. It's like you're almost an seldom adult among many-many children 😂😂😂😂 in the sense that you're just.. above and beyond trends. You do timeless, ageless, pro work, and your deep knowledge and vast experience, as well as dedication to your profession, and such thorough approach, simply shine through everything that you do. Wayne I absolutely love HOW DETAILED you are with your techniques. Thank you so much. I already do several steps of what you’ve shown, but I definitely learned a couple more. Especially the shadow contouring you did, that can bring the eyes illusion closer. I’m going to try this as I have eyes that are further spaced apart. Your choice of sparkle shadow color is what I tend to use a lot. Definitely makes the eyes pop. I never have been one to ever put a dark or even medium color on my lids. My eyes always look bigger with a light color on the lids like you did. Wayne you’re the BEST. I appreciate your wisdom with makeup techniques. God bless you. 🙏💖😉🎨💄

So old school but it's great... Way Bandy was the original master makeup artist and we all read his book back in the day. Then the 80s came along and we were doing the exact same technique with all those crazy colors... I used to love doing up my eyes like this but I haven't done it for a long time. Thanks to you, I'm going t try it again.

Fantastic tutorial.....as to be expected! I was so happy to hear you mention that it helps to have your "lashes" on! I HAVE to have them on as it helps me tremendously with proper shading for my hooded, almond shaped eyes. It drives my 27 year old daughter crazy! Ha!

I tried putting on false lashes during the week. Nearly had a conniption! I admire anyone who has the requisite skills to do it.

I’m 64 and you will never hear “make up and fun” uttered from my lips! I don’t feel there is any hope for my profoundly hooded, mobile eyelids. Ok, but if I apply with a brush, using a back and forth motion even ever so lightly, IT MOVES! I’m confused now, because I don’t know which part I try to apply shadow, or not? I think I’ll just go with a wash of light color all over. I give up. I JUST decided a few days ago to begin practicing applying eyelashes! Synchronicity! I feel lashes are my only hope? This is brilliant and exactly what I need to do. It’s like I hit 45 and boom my eyes have become even more hooded and the more I tried the worse it looked. I was trying to bring the darkest color in further thinking that’s maybe what I needed and it just looks hideous. I will be dialing it back and following your tips.

This is way off topic, but a long time ago you showed us a product that helped cold sores. A little patch that you apply that covers and heals them. I bought some just in case, and started to get one after a stressful situation and they work! So thanks again. ;)
