About Young Sheldon:
It’s 1989 and 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper has skipped four grades to start high school along with his less-intellectual older brother. As he struggles to be understood by his family, classmates and neighbors, his mother arms him with the best tool she can come up with: reminding bullies his dad is the football coach and his brother is on the team. His twin sister doesn’t share his exceptional mind, but she has a much clearer vision of what life has in store for the young genius.

That line about gravity is a logical fallacy. If gravity weren't exactly as is, we wouldn't be here to be able to question it, therefore it wouldn't matter. If multiverse theory is right, there could be a bunch of universes where the gravity is too high, or too low, and a bunch of them that hit just the right spot.

3:26 Science and Religion is strongly related just like Sheldon struggles to believe in it, I mean he doesn’t believe in God himself but he understands that there must be a creator at least. Oh well, a catholic priest even suggested The Big Bang theory. Wait a minute? What did Genesis 1:3 said? “Let there be light, and there was light”. You might have guessed now why he has came up with the idea of Big Bang theory. Sir Isaac Newton, the one who discovered gravity, was interested with the bible.

I guess if you already in a religious cult, it just reinforces your preexisting beliefs. I shuffled a deck of cards 7 times. There was a 1 in a trillion chance I got this arrangement of cards instead of any other order. Doesn't make it logical to believe there was a magical being that intended me to get this particular arrangement of cards. Any other arrangement was equally likely.

@@777Skeptic I didn't believe in God, until I cried out to him and asked him to save me if he was real. He saved my life that night and I felt his presence ,his peace and love all over me. You're one prayer away to encountering the living God but yet you choose to waste your time arguing about God not existing even though the evidence is everywhere. Wherever you look theres evidence of a creator, you yourself are evidence of a creator. But you blindly and selfishly decide that a random explosion gazillion years ago somehow created intelligent design and life that is so perfect that it makes absolutely no sense. I'm here to tell you that God is not a distant God, he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. And he wants to have a relationship with you as father and son. There is no religion in him, he despises religion because its a human creation and its dead because there is no spirit of God in religion. That is why Religion often divides, robs and kills.

The universe is perfect for what we know, but if things were different it would be perfect for another type of reality. When scientists try to find life in other planets searching for water is because life as we know needs water to exists, but other planets may have other element that supports other type of complex organism not based in carbon, their not something we know, and probably our lives wouldn’t be possible at those planets, but they are perfect for their reality. Logic is the side that has been ordered to follow the logical ideologies of perception. The laws that can be defined and set for understanding our own reality. Whereas the Illogical is the side that has no order, it is chaos that cannot be ordered as it follows an illogical ideology of perception. A perception that will not follow any law and incites entropy for the sake of cosmic wonderment. A unique function of this fundamental property is that it is, in fact a paradox. One that has no order and or law, yet has one solid law, the Law of Illogics. It will forever be a Paradox, it will never have order but it is in itself the one Law that maintains the functionality of the universe to maintain that status quo. No matter how much law and order you set in the universe, there will always be unexplainable chaos, things that you would think are impossible or outright illogical, as it cannot exist without this Law of Illogics.

I’m not sure if you know this or not, but the actress that played Mary in TBBT (as well as “Aunt Jackie” on the tv show Roseanne) Laurie Metcalf, is Zoe Perry’s mother; Zoe Perry is the actress that plays “Mary” on Young Sheldon. I wasn’t too sure about Young Sheldon when it premiered but my mother started watching it and a few episodes in she asked me to watch the next episode because the actress that played Mary was familiar to her but she couldn’t place her. So that Thursday I watched it with her, and it took me about half the episode to figure it out because she was so familiar to me too. As soon as I said that’s “Aunt Jackie” from Roseanne, my mother was like “YES! I KNEW I’D SEEN HER BEFORE” and after I googled her real name, I found it was Laurie Metcalf’s daughter Zoe Perry. They are so very alike, same facial expressions, sound the same when they’re mad, it’s like they’re twins and not mother-daughter.

This scene always makes me cry. As a parent, all we want is the best for our kids. I get seriously shook when anything happens to a kid because I immediately put myself in the parent's shoes. The loss of a child is something I never wish on even my worst enemy. Children are sacred. I am also moved by Sheldon's concern for his Mom and tenderness with how delicate an issue it was for his Mom. He said exactly the right thing she needed to hear, at exactly the right time. There is such sweetness in him that he just wants to make his Mom whole again. Mary Cooper is a woman of faith period. Without it, I don't think she could cope. Sheldon is an atheist and moral. I love how this is displayed. My boyfriend is an atheist. He is one of the most moral people I know. I love seeing Sheldon recognize that restoring Mary's faith would make his mother whole. He chose a way to do this that so artfully respected his own beliefs and intelligence as well as speaking to her heart, where the problem lay. Well done, mother and son, for bridging the gap between faith and skepticism, the mind and the heart to meet in the middle ❤️ together

I like how Sheldon, an atheist, is worried about his mom not going to church or saying grace, simply because it breaks a habit and he hates change. He would go out of his way to break his own beliefs (or lack thereof) to comfort his mom so that things go could go back to normal.
