Politics was always like that. Don't think that politicians do not know what they are doing. Missy being the brainchild of all the piece of information/gossip surveillance given to Sheldon. It is like don't ever mess up with Missy, because she is very keen in her observations and if you give her job, trust her instincts she never fails. She gets those classy qualities from her Meemaw. Sheldon just nailed the speech by trusting his sister and Missy never lets him down for another time. It was during the phobia for Dogs scene, Missy just gets it right, the smell of Sheldon attracts the dog. Also during the twins research activities, she proves how emotionally intelligent she is and her understanding is beyond hard core science. Missy in many other episodes had that sharp instinct and ideas, truly gifted child of her own like her twin brother. Sheldon and Missy are the best twins on a different plane.

As an underdog sheldon turned the table. His ending shows politics is mostly about bolstering popular sentiment, no real welfare.

@@princeytron As an athiest, I can't agree with that. I think the *average* religious leaders are mostly good people who mean well. The ones who have a love of money are almost all bad. And many with power or really big congregations are corrupted but they are mostly at the top. But they are not average or typical. Small average churches are best in my opinion. Less corruption (tho some do turn cult-like)

What's even more illogical is the fact that Sheldon won the election even though he doesn't believe in or stand with any of the values of his peers, the kid only had one thing in common with them and that was being a Texan. I find it hard to believe they would dislike Nell because she's from NY even though she stands for everything they stand for she believes in God, loves football, has good relationships with everyone around her but losses to the kid that views everyone that doesn't believe in and or like the things he does as lesser than him. It's honestly impossible that Sheldon would have won that election.
