    i have a feeling the hippo was already dead. Crocs do not attack hippos naturally... and in fact hippos are even more dangerous than crocs. Up to 500 people a year in africa are killed by hippos. They have huge fangs and sharp teeth as well you will find more videos of hippos attacking crocs than otherwise

    @ did you not hear them at the beginning of the video say that the Young Lions haven't learned which parts of the river are the shallowest? They have no idea if they can Sprint the entire way across! It really baffles me when humans who don't live in the environment think that they know better than these trained killers. The people who are in the arena every single day. I just don't get it

    Sometimes hippos will even show signs of cannibalism, they'll go over to croc's eating a carcass of a fellow hippo and lick the skined parts for the salt. I haven't seen this happen often though. That hippo probably died of natural causes, not the croc's anyway.

    The narrator was spot on. Many people do not know how powerful and fast Nile crocs are, and real threat to even big male lions. One bite and the lion is a goner. Even in shallow water.

    Lions stand a far better chance surviving a croc attack as many videos have shown , for obvious reasons . But , hoofers are as good as crocs' meal before they even get halfway .

    Amazing how well aware the lions were of crocodiles in the river, must be hardwired into their DNA after centuries of attacks... unlike impalas

    Some crocs can get so huge that even male lions are a joke for them. Most of this lion croc encounters just show mediocre sized crocs at max, mostly even baby/juvenile crocs

    @@spectralaves It's not debatable. They use a tool that measures PSI "pressure per square inch" to determine this and they have 3,700 whereas a hippo has 1825 psi. Hippo has the strongest psi for a mammal.

    @@sujugasim753 The orca is estimated at around 19000 PSI, using observation and comparison, without measuring it. It would be more accurate to say that these animals have the highest CONFIRMED psi rather than that it just is. Logic dictates that the if we were handing out medals it would go to the orca. To the other guy: I think it's safe to say piranhas are not even on the list unless we are measuring psi relative to size instead of the actual ratings. Correct me if I am wrong.

    You don't see a lot of interaction between lions and crocs, but tigers being more at home in water seem to make crocs nervous.
