These Young Cubs Haven’t Yet Learned to be Afraid of Crocs

Ойын-сауық

  • @theartsyzoologist

I absolutely admire the smallest details here, from a human perspective of course. Zuri ever so calmly trying to coerce her cubs to stay with their grandmother, as any rushed movements could over excite her cubs into chasing and most likely following her, or even worse, startling the other cubs into panic mode sending them off in different directions as they desperately try to maneuver themselves off the rocky out ledge. A lot of people would assume "Oh mum or aunty could easily go pick them up and whisk them to safety" which of course they could. However, what we humans see as a basic solution to this dilemma, Lions would carry out with a great attention to detail and a tactful thought process, which as we see in their skillful hunting strategies is not a foreign concept to these intelligent big cats. What a wonderful ending to a potentially devastating story!.

They survive and perish in the way it was chosen for them. That was the plan. Till humans interfered. So this scenario happens in the animal world. Brutal or not. @kevin anith When Australia fought the Japanese in Singapore. They could have destroyed the Japanese army, except for a broken phoneline. In the battle for Singapore itself despite having the hardest sector to defend the Australian forces continually pushed back all Japanese advances and inflicted such heavy casualties on the Japanese forces they were days away from giving up. It wasn't until the British and Indian forces surrended that the Australians were also forced to surrender. In PNG, with Australia's regular army fighting in Africa. Australia was forced to send national service men. Basically factory/office workers, farmers, laborers, etc with only a few weeks training to PNG to stop a full invasion force of seasoned Japanese troops. The national service men were nicked named "choco's" short for Chocolate soldiers because it was thought they would melt away in the heat of battle. What resulted was months of battle that ended in the Japanese first defeat of WW2.

Im just glad I didn't see a lion cub getting eaten by a croc. Im sure that happens. Mother should pay closer attention in a croc riddled area.

All that fake suspense that shows 2 scenes where they are trying to climb out 2:22 and 3:03, but it's same footage and the cubs probably got out easily on their first try.

Man they sure know how to make it intense. The reality is there probably wasnt even a croc there or if there was it was probably miles away not even aware of the cubs but they make out its getting closer and the cubs are in danger of falling in with no escape and mom is gone rogue and aunt is struggling with her cubs and cant help lol its very well done though, had me in suspence.
