Young & Crazy Rich in Mumbai: A New Generation of Super-Rich Entrepreneurs | India Documentary

It’s one of the most populous cities on the planet with 22 million inhabitants, predicted to increase to 30 million by 2035. Nicknamed ‘the infernal Metropolis’, Mumbai is a city in perpetual development. But with millions of people living in slums located on valuable real estate, how can city planners balance the competing needs of the population?
Every day, new towers of glass or concrete emerge from the earth. Their residents? The rising middle class and super-rich of India. Women such as Jinita, a model, are following a new way of life in the megacity and carving a new style for women. French entrepreneurs are taking a chance on the growing city with new, trendy restaurants for local white-collar workers.

They have gathered together a couple of rich "looking" English speaking subjects who may not have a penny to spare otherwise. The real young and crazy rich in Mumbai will be found in it's alleys and streets who are money rich, street smart with and not just Instagram rich. Stop looking at India through a European and American lens and you will find real success stories. If anywhere in the world, the people want to practice their tradition and culture then from western perspective they are conservative. 02:30 She is trying to bring change? Why should Indians adopt a western way of life? Is western culture better than Indian culture? Western culture is a few centuries old but Indian culture is thousand years old but always adapting along with the changing world. I am Indian. I love my culture. You have your culture. Your culture is not superior to my culture. If I am not adopting your culture that does not mean I am conservative. If I am, then West is also conservative because the west doesn't adopt my culture and way of life.
