I am not a Catholic but I can't help but respect this man. He seems genuinely compassionate and down to earth. Certainly the best Pontiff of my lifetime.

The innocence of children heals everything that humanity does wrong.

I am protestant personally just traditionally in the general sense, but this Pope seems like a very beautiful person. I don't known much about the other ones, but I am sure there would be no Protestants then if he was Pope then.

i actually love pope francis much more than his predecessor. he seems much more human and almost gives off a grandad sort of vibe c: sort of reminds me of John Paul II in a way :)

I think he's actually a good guy. Ratzinger was pure evil. But Pope Francis seems to be a genuine, warm hearted compassionate human, trying to stop harm as apposed to aiding and abetting it.

Pope Benedict is a scholar, a man of deep spiritual insight and integrity. If after reading some of his inspiring books you still want to fling out epithets like 'evil' then at least justify the comment with chapter and verse.
