I don’t decorate for Halloween, but these are all cute. As for your tags on the candy corn bottles, I have a tiny sign in my shop, made from a teensy piece of “leftover” lumber, that says “There’s no such thing as scrap wood, only smaller pieces.” 😬

I never throw any little pieces of wood because everything can be turned into a tag or sign that’s a cute little quote that you put on yours
You come up with the darkest ideas! They were all so unique. Love the dripping effect. You make me start thinking outside the box and I need that to get out of my rut!

I meant darnest idea, not darkest.
What a timely video! I picked up twigs from my yard today and wondered if this textured stone paint I had would look good on them. I had another project in mind for them, but I'm definitely going to make the vase and floral display you showed. I've been saving wine bottles for crafts, so I'll be trying that one too. Thanks so much for all you share. I love your videos.

I love them all, but I'll have to say the vase was my favorite! The glitter jar was real pretty especially with the light of the candle. I have been going backwards watching your videos & I just finished my Christmas balls with glitter inside & also the clay ornaments. You my dear are keeping me busy! I love everything you do & can't wait for the next video. Thanks for sharing your creative ideas. See you next time. God bless you. 🥰

Does the printing graffics work with a normal ink jet printer?

I dislike recycling, upcycling, diy, crafts, art projects. But I dislike how my husband wants me to throw away everything of mine that isn’t pristine & perfect, so I’m going to subscribe to you. You are talented and likable. Yes, I am a cranky, crabby person today, so don’t ask why I would say all of that. How can I “white wash” my porcelain/ceramic tile kitchen backsplash? Anyone know? I’ve tried chalk paint but it hasn’t completely worked. My backsplash is pretty - but I want it a shade lighter and closer to white … I clean them with tsp and then have tried things but nothing has really stayed. Would love your ideas. Happy Labor Day.

Thanks for following a while hope you find lots of great contacts I have never white washed a kitchen backsplash so I’m not much help but maybe somebody here in the comments can give you some ideas take care

@@OurUpcycledLife Thank you kindly. I’ll try to not be so crabby going forward. You do lovely work. I love learning from talented hard-working thinkers like yourself. ❤️
Cant you use clear spray paint as a base for the acrylic on glass.
@OurUpcycledLife
Жыл бұрын
I don’t usually prep my glass with acrylic but I’m sure it would probably work pretty good I do sometimes use a spray paint primer before I put on the chalk paint
These were pretty good but the branches and flowers at the end absolutely failed. Spray a heavier coat of that textured paint then spray them flat black. Separate the flowers and leaves and after a heavy coat of that stone textured paint or whatever it was, then paint over with black and orange.
