Must be active and take a vantage of the water yeah every time you step creates an early every time you move rock stirs the ground up or just a minimal amount of water which most dishes don’t have water in most the time but there are them special times It takes a lot of work to get gold there’s no such thing as he’s gone not like it used to be A lot of digging I cold is down in the cracks on the bed rock. I was raised about seven or 8 miles from the Yuba and the big gold is not on the river 6Thousands are off the hook after market coil all the difference. The value on silver nuggets is mostly based on how crystalline they are. A blob of silver will fetch spot value , but a beautiful crystalline specimen will fetch much more.

I'm curious about something guys... How do you go out detecting nuggets like that without worrying about being jumped by a cougar? Are they plentiful out there?
@argonaught5666
Жыл бұрын
Can't speak for them but I've only ever seen one cat in AZ. I don't worry about them and I detect alone but I got a couple dogs to alert me and I pack. I worry more about my dogs as a lion will make short work of them if it gets a chance. This time of year I worry more about snakes. Just saw a Mohave Rattlesnake about 20 minutes ago which was disheartening because I figured they'd be sleeping this time of day.

@@argonaught5666 Thanks bud...so a dog is probably the best early warning....how often would your dog get bit by rattlesnake?
@argonaught5666
Жыл бұрын
@@lronWill Hopefully never! Would probably kill them. Mostly around here are the Mohave and they're the worst of the Rattlesnake for potency. It's all just chances. Most lions want nothing to do with a man but there's always that one cat and they're worse than a bear because you'd never see it coming. They are stealth hunters. Dogs would most likely warn me but sometimes they're off running or hiding in the shade. Could get bit, could get jumped but chances are fairly slim. No fear, just go. I've walked thousands of miles alone and only once had a bad one. Sow grizzly with 2 cubs. That was a bit traumatic but I got over it....for the most part😊

Wow…. That is one huge piece of gold!😊 I’ve been following “I brake for bedrock”, for a year or so am ready to buy my metal detector. My son got me a pinpointed for Christmas. I want to start with the latest Fisher Gold Bug 2. And you did an episode on the at Mind Lab 1000. Please suggest where I can buy one or if you sell them. I’m subscribed to your channel, click likes too. I live in the Beaverhead Dillon area in the Rockies, Montana. Big gold area with Virginia City, Banick and Helena. I’m very excited and will be with friends doing it. Thanks for showing your digging and weighing at the end. It’s sooo much fun.

Ok….. I went to Ron detector sales and buying the Gold Monster 1000 and told of your referral. He’s out of stock right now but another order coming in Wednesday May 24. My order consists of a bundle from Robs site. And I got a padded bag. So when I get up the mountain I’ll make a video for you and boulderdash. Thank you for your videos and referral to Rob. He’s a nice man and very helpful. Looking forward to your next video! I’m riding up the mountain with my horse and dog to metal detect and carry. This is Grizzly country.

Stacked a Lotta rock like that I have yeah it really helps if you got running water wash the light stuff way. I’ll go out in the worst weather there is just got out the right year you’ll be prepared for it and just move ground answer for a couple weeks and then when it dries out,. @@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Regarding detecting over possible mineralized bedrock zones, what detector(s) would you recommend for a relative novice like myself?
That would be fun. If I had a place to detect for nuggets I`d probably die out there doing it. Snakes would get me. The last real metal detecting adventure I went on I was bitten by a copperhead because I was wearing Crocs. I didn`t know we were hiking deep in the woods to an old homestead.

Nice gold! I'm jealous! Been out here busting my butt for 4 months and only got a few ounces total but I'm taking the long shots looking for the Virgin spot. Got a question for ya. I saw you guys finding some native silver nuggets. I found some awhile back but am playing heck establishing a value for them. One piece weighs 35 oz. Can ya help a brother out? Be nice to get something for my 300 miles of walking this winter!
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK

The value on silver nuggets is mostly based on how crystalline they are. A blob of silver will fetch spot value , but a beautiful crystalline specimen will fetch much more.

No, it’s not bedrock
I'm curious about something guys... How do you go out detecting nuggets like that without worrying about being jumped by a cougar? Are they plentiful out there?
@argonaught5666

@argonaught5666
