One thing I do is start the listing of the item and take a rough pic of it with the price tag in the store. When I finish the listing later I put the cost in my custom SKU and a date bought/location. Makes it easy when I get an offer after it’s been listed a few months.

There is a house in the town near us that has an all-the-time-yardsale. They advertise it as a humongous sale, but the sign actually says "humgus sale" 😂

I'd like to add a magnet to the cheat sheet if you are looking at jewelry. If its gold it will not stick to the magnet, but gold plated metal will.

Ozone Generator: We use my Son-in-laws unit for musty books and the occasional smokey item. For a half dozen books, we put the books and the machine in a lidded tote, that has a small notch for the power cord. That way we're not doing the entire room.

lol We've got a very nice LG dvd recorder combo that sells for about $150, it works great, but the back is stained nicotine yellow we have Ozoned it, it doesn't stink but its ugly, we've cleaned it with alcohol, peroxide, and even bleach, the yellow doesn't come off just makes it sticky..

One of the first thing I did was block/favorite repeat yard sales. I color-coded my jewelry, I know I'm going to that drawer and finding that color. You can pick up grocery/ikea size bags at sales too for cheap.
