    They are all good but some are just better:))) And now as a true pro keyboardwarrior a little tip for your flycasting when doing reg casts. It looks like your double pull is a bit too fast for the rod and it's also a bit short. Make a longer and more acellerating pull and you will load the rod deeper and get a few xtra meter since the casting part of the rod is the lower part.Power of the all mighty keyboard warrior:)

    I think the best lever length for me is the same length as my height. So I choose readymade fishing rod or custom built it to match my height. I felt satisfy in term of balance between burden held during jigging and pumping fish up with my hand and body strength compare to advantage of leverage provide by the rod length. For those who yet to know- the longer your rod, the heavier / stronger we felt the fish fighting. God knows best.

    Those Chinamen remind me of Mr. Wink(chain/fist) in the movie Hell Boy II, The Golden Army. 😛. I'd think they have to eat mostly crustaceans but are opportunistic feeders. Seriously tough fish!

    You make it look so easy.. I had my first crack on the flats last week and couldn't find a trout, managed a few spanglies. Should I just be looking for bombies with current hitting them? Incoming or outgoing, does one tend to fish better then the other in your experience?

  • @PelagicPursuit89

    @PelagicPursuit89

    2 жыл бұрын

    run out seems to focus them more on bombies and not spread out on the reef flats. current is a huge part of finding fish on the flats but distance away from trout boats is even more important.

  • @DanEvan

    It’s a snapper. Same family as a Cubera or Red Snapper. Mostly destroy crabs and lobsters but just like a cubera will come up and take a swipe at a popper or stickbait. Insanely strong pound for pound (world record is only like 29 pounds) and if they grew to the 100+ pound range I reckon they’d be harder to stop than GTs even on PE-10.

  • @DanEvan

    Matty so the IGFA world record is 29 pounds, and from previous episodes you’ve got to be coming close with a few that you’ve caught. Do you think if these fish grew to the 50-70kg size they’d be harder to stop than a GT on PE-10?
