Oh no shit? That’s awesome, I live probably around 20-30 mins from downtown, I honestly hate this place with a burning passion. The nursing station part is so true, which is why nurses usually only keep the sweets (mainly from patients and relatives) at their tea room just to make sure no doctors will sneak them!!

Yeeeeeeeaaaas 3rd year medical student and I always find myself eating something

So surgeons think about candy and coffee all day 😂

My husband is an orthopedic surgical resident and he eats very shitty food even though I cook him very healthy food. I’m a college nutrition professor and a registered dietitian so it bothers the hell out of me. Plus he has type 1 (genetic) diabetes. So frustrating.

Hahahah this is accurate the nurses always have all the cakes, kitkat, timtams and other candies 😂😂😂... legit in every unit I've been at 😂 especially in the operating theatre unit the lounge is always loaded with random food sometimes beef casserole 😂😂 I'm a nursing student and i just eat some food from the nurse lounges and kitchen

Yup ! You always have that one doctor who sneaks into the nurses lounge especially when there’s potlucks . I’m a Type One Diabetic And coffee makes my sugar go up 😭🤷🏻‍♀️ yet a cookie doesn’t have that same effect😌😂 and Halo ice cream is my hero i can eat the whole thing and only have to bolus for 20 carbs whooo!

Now I am deeply concerned about our eating habits - not sure, if I needed that knowledge. Quitting the candies obviously, tnx! But beacon stays with coffee.

Very fun and entertaining video. Yes, some of what you said -- closes ties into when my role was as an IT Manager in a hospital. I sure could clean up most days, but I had to balance it out with the INCREDIBLE, DELICIOUS SALAD that the hospital had. Man, they would charge by the bowl and not ounce, so I'd bring my own little bowl in (which was BIGGER -- OF COURSE but same black color ... "big trick there"). Then, I would load it down with mushrooms, brocolli, spinach, eggs, chicken chunks, cut ham, etc. You know much that stuff costs???? Stupid people would use hospital dressing and do it by weight. NO NO NO -- use your own dressing and just pile more shit in there. So, that salad could be split into BIG SALAD for lunch, then take rest home for a salad snack for dinner. So, yeah, that was way that I still maintained weight during my hospital days.

no caffeine pills? no hot water needed!
