Hey, you're back! Congratulations to your girlfriend on her new job. It's a trap to take anything seriously from someone who only knows you from social media, especially the more short form the content. We are more performative on shorter forms of content, full stop. So it's unlikely anyone will get our total personalities in that context. But more to the point, on social media we are trying to show ourselves in the best light. We typically don't upload content when we are angry/hysterical/so overwhelmed we can barely speak, yet in those moments our MOST PURE sense of personality comes out, because our true personality shows when all the mental and emotional filters come down and we are left to face life's obstacles. How we act, perceive, and prioritize when we are stripped down to those situations is our realest personality. Most people *won't* know you at that level and that's totally fine. So don't stress out trying to please someone that only knows you via social media. Make the content that makes you happy and the audience who enjoy that type of content will come and you will get to stay authentic. Thanks for sharing!

Thank u for such a thoughtful comment and I totalllly agree. Usually I don’t take these things seriously and am not all pressed about a comment but it just had me thinking of how I’m perceived which is always a little slippery slope
