I think this song by both of you I would like played at my funeral when God finally takes me home someday. God has kept me on his shoulders all my life. Through Vietnam and the worry of agent Orange, a divorce that left me numb, the murder of my sister, the death of my my sister's 42 year old daughter by a disease that left her at 55 lbs. The death of my brother by cancer, the death of my parents and a daughter with a auto immune disease and both my wife and daughter with severe depression. But even with all this God still carries me on his shoulders and raises me up with his gifts of grace, hope and strength. God is good, all the time. Thank you God for people like Mat and Savanna and the talents you gave them.

I was having a really "down" day today, with a friend's bad health prognosis and all the awful news everywhere. Then I saw and heard this and I feel like I'm coming out of the darkness! Thank you both so much - and keep singing your beautiful duets.... they are a brightness in a very dark world right now.

Absolutely agreed. But … perspective: the vocal chords of these two messengers - individually, and MUCH more so together - are powerful spiritual instruments, that conjure up much welcomed angels in a world that mostly rejects them if given a chance. Thank you guys, I’m continually grateful for your perseverance - importunity even - to benefit unknown millions … I pray you never quit.

I could listen to this over and over and over again. When I'm down, it really does raise me up. However depressed I am, watching these two singing together doesn't fail to lift my mood, even just a little, but enough to ease those dark depressive thoughts. Matt and Savanna I just love you two.

My beloved mom passed away on July 30, 2023. She loved this song, and I have listened to it several times over the past few years. I just listened to it with tears in my eyes. I love you, Mom. Rest in Peace, and give Dad a hug for me!😭😭💔

When my now 19 year old son was two I had the Josh Grobin album which featured this song. My son would sit in his car seat while the CD was playing in the car and shout this song at the top of his little lungs, and as soon as it was done, ask for me to “play again, Mama!”. It is one of my most cherished memories of his toddlerhood, and made this song a favorite for me. It was also a challenging time in my life, and the words of this song helped me to know that all would be well. Thanks for bringing this song in a new and beautiful way, it always “Raise(s) Me Up” to hear it again.

I Would have done anything to be just seated beside my Mom @ Savannah's age.My parents were divorced & Mumma remarried when I was 10 to a man none of my siblings or I cared for. Mumma died when I was 16 & I lived with my siblings in summer & 2 different families during the school year so I could finish high school in my home town & not be uproot ed.The fact that my Mom did not see me Graduate,get Married have babies Work & Make a Good Life w/ My Husband still Hurts Don't Ever take any thing for granted😢😭

I am a pianist who has been through much in the last 6 years that closely resembles what our country has been facing these last 6 months. Music has always been with me what it obviously has been for you. I was given my love of music by God through Mom. She went home to be with Jesus last year at the wonderful age of 88. I was truly blessed to have her for 52 years. Your relationship reminds me so much of my relationship with my Mom and you both feel me with so much joy and wonderful memories! As I was listening to you, I was sitting at my piano and playing along with both of you! May God richly bless you as you have blessed me and so many others! Love you both!

I need this song today! My aunt was laid to rest today and my mother was admitted to the hospital just before. God bless you two!! Today had been hard for me and my family. I love listening to you too. You are truly blessed. Thank you for singing this song. Crying but needed.

Happy tears, listening to this beautiful rendition of this song. Exactly three years ago today, my four year old great niece was diagnosed with leukemia. She fought like a warrior (much stronger than ANY of us!). She is now completely done with treatment--healthy and absolutely amazing. Counting my blessings!!!
