There is just something special about this song. It calms a troubled heart. It reminds us that even though things seem so chaotic, we can still find so many reasons to proclaim, “Hallelujah”. So pass it on, and share some peace in a very troubled world.
10 years ago we met Stephen Nelson at one of Savanna’s voice recitals. He sang Hallelujah that night while accompanying himself on the piano. It was mesmerizing and absolutely unforgettable. That was one of the last times he sang publicly for almost 10 years. It has been a long road back, and we are so proud of his courage. We sincerely hope that this is not the last time you will get to hear his incredible voice. This song is the culmination of a journey that brought out all three of our voices. God bless that broken road that brought us together. And to that we say, “Hallelujah!”

This song is so special to us so we are grateful for all the loving comments! Thank you! We added this to our "Picture This" album if you would like to get it. Here is the link:
Sitting with my 87 year old mom right now. She has severe Alzheimer’s. Most of the time she can’t put together a sentence. I rarely know what she’s trying to talk about. She often gets very sad and cries, like today. Often, when I can’t cheer her up, I play one of your duets. She calms down. Sometimes she even gets happy, like today. She’s always loved to sing. She doesn’t sing anymore. She’s always loved good harmony. She still does. She doesn’t remember you from one visit to the next, but each day I visit, she hears you. You’re music is one of her few pleasures. She remembers her love for Jesus and I feel like you help her get through her hard times as she waits for Him to bring her home. This is one of her favorites. Thank you Mat and Savanna!
OH MY! When the pianist started singing too, I almost fell off my chair! The three voices gave me goosebumps. THANK YOU for sharing your talents with us. ♥️
can I just say that I love that Stephen is not just playing but singing with y'all . . . just adds a beautiful dimension to this arrangement
Yesher koach. Cohen understood the truth of G-.d, Torahvand community through beautiful lyrics and song.
My 8 year old Emma insisted that we comment, because she wants you to know that this is her favorite song you have sang so far! We both really loved it. She also said that Savanna looks so beautiful and grown up!
This song was played on the funeral of my mom (sorry for my English I come from Germany 😅). This Is so emotional for me and you are singing this song soooo fantastic 🥺❤️
Oh Stephen, I think you’ve come home. This “family” of voices just set the bar so incredibly high.
One thing I love about the two of you is how crystal clear your diction is, without losing any of the musicality in it. Too many performers have a hard time balancing expressing the emotion of the song and making sure the words are understood. I never feel that with you. All of the emotion comes through along with the beautiful text. Just a great blending of heart and technique.
I'm a Buddhist but I'm also a music lover have to say that Hallelujah is an incredibly beautiful and lyrical song which lifts the heart and this interpretation is spot on. Just gorgeous...
All three of you have voices blending from the realms of glory on high. Totally magnificent and emotionally moving. Savana looks and sings like an angel with her father’s golden voice. Steven’s voice and piano interpretation is out of this mortal world. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us online.
Dad and Daughter are magical. The harmony with Stephen is heaven sent.
through the turmoil of this election, this is just such a beautiful breath of fresh air! sending love from england
Probably the best version of this song I've ever heard. Three part harmonies can be tricky, but these are prefect - rich, full and so melodic. Wonderful. Brought several tears to an old man's eyes.
Most beautiful version of this song I've ever heard. Everything was perfect.
the most beautiful rendition of Hallelujah I've ever heard....
Stephen you need to be included vocally in more songs you arrange/write or start making your own albums. This is just gorgeous! Love your voice and your music!!
Oh my goodness. That was beautiful. The harmony throughout the piece was breathtaking, makes me tear up just to hear it. Stephen blends so nicely with you two! So talented!! I can't wait to stand before God with you singing hallelujah to Him. ❤
What's better than two beautiful voices singing in perfect harmony... three beautiful voices singing in perfect harmony...
I’d love to hear Stephen sing more with Mat and Savanna! Beautiful! Greetings from Wales 🏴
