That lake is gorgeous! It’s hard to take bad footage when the landscape and mountains are so incredible. What a tent site location. And you were the only one there! Stunning sunrise across the cloud inversion. Great Video!

Hi Chris👋 fantastic video! We were very jealous of this camp. That skyline was to die for! Love seeing the mountains like that. We have a soft spot for the old man, it's such a lovely climb, last time we were up there it was just before Christmas and it was minus 9 at the top🥶. Looked a little different the day you were up there😎. Enjoyed the swig and the trig (you can have that if you like hahaha😆). Glad you have been able to do a few videos in the lakes lately. Hey!! Litterally got back from my camp in the Peaks last night, sorted and dried all my stuff out then just sat down to reply to all my comments on here, then yours popped up too! Perfect timing haha.... Really glad you liked the video, this was prob my favourite camp if the year! Yeah it was great up there this year and I feel you with the cold experience lol as you saw the last time I was up there wasnt the best 🥶🥶 I might actually say that in a video one day haha, ill obviously say where I heard it, wont take the credit 😆 Well my place of work has had some major part shortages lately so sometimes we have been stood down in the week. Ive fully taken advantage of the weekdays haha so much better than weekends. I cant wait to get and explore Scotland... so excited!! Take care both... Chris 😊👍🏻🙏🏼🥰

Yeah it was well different than my last visit lol.... good thing about sweating on the way up is you can rehydrate yourself with beer at the top 😂😂 Yeah the Hilleberg is fantastic mate, you still need to try, width will be no issue at all, loads more in there thsn looks on camera. Thank you so much for clicking on my video and leaving me a comment, really am happy you enjoyed it and your time is greatly appreciated 🙏🏼😊💯 Yeah there are quite a few potential spots on the summit bud, where I actually was the ground was pretty hard and rocky a bit deeper down, actually slightly bent one of my groundhogs hitting it in lol but it was fine in the end. If your facing my tent so the trig is behind you and walk a minute to the left just where you come off the path there are also loads of spots there, I saw about 7 or 8 without even looking too hard so you'll be sound mate 👍🏻 I quickly clicked on your channel and see you also make videos, I have hit your subscribe button mate but just leaving for work so will catch up with some of your vids maybe tonight or over the next day or so 👍🏻😊😊 Take it easy and stay safe... thanks again 🙏🏼 Chris

The Coniston Fells hold many dear memories for me. I did a two night wild camp there earlier this year. Levers Water is also a great place to pitch. It's so beautiful. I remember your previous vid on Coniston, thankfully you had better weather this time round. xx

Yes I would definitely recommend it, it was hard going in places but felt so good to finish it, and the Coast to Coast would be ace too, just a little longer haha. Yes it was easy to follow, I did take my WHW Trailblazer book just to check what’s along the route and how many miles I did etc. I am doing a little mini series on my channel, like my experience of it (I am still a novice at YT and Wild Camping, but it’s what I thought and did haha).

@@Class1Adventures Hahaha well thanks man!! You will be sound mate, once you come up to the end of the 'path' near the summit you will see loads of potential pitch spots just off to the left. Then if you carry on to the trig you will see where I was on the left. Get there like 1800 or even before and just chill up there / secure your pitch even if you dont get the tent out straight away. You can always have some food and a drink etc. Hope you have a wonderful time im sure you will love it! Take care mate and happy camping 😊😊🏕🏕👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks so much!! I do you really?? I park in Coniston quite a bit depending where im heading or in various places on the Kirkstone Pass. Bet that is absolutely amazing having that area on your doorstep basically. Whaaat??! Noooo.. I didnt even know there was a ghost up there 😱 I did see someone running towards swirl how after the sun had gone down but thought it was another wild campers further along. No im not to sure 😳😂

Cracker video Chris! I really enjoyed it. That scenery is first class, what a wonderful place to camp for the night. I'd much rather hike at this time of year than your previous trek there. Had a great laugh at your "very very hot 28°" 🤣🤣 Today where I am it is 33° and will get about 10° hotter in the next couple of months 😎 Take care mate, happy and safe travels to you 🙏

Hey Bernie! Thanks so much mate really glad you enjoyed the video and the scenery. It was probably my favourite camp if the year this one. I definitely had more of an enjoyable time this time round haha although the previous one was an experience for sure. 😂😂😂😂 yeah thats hot here LOL we had just had a heatwave from Africa and it got to like 32° - 33° then, it gets on the news and everyone is so excited and everywhere gets absolutely rammed 😂😂😂😂 its gone back down to like 18° - 22° the last few weeks now (this vid was about a month ago) We got told we would have another heatwave in August but havent seen one yet. Oh well we have had our 2 - 3 weeks of English summer I think haha Hope you enjoy your nice warm weather and take care also! 😃👍🏻👍🏻

@@adventurewithbernie Haha yeah my Spanish friends took me to Andorra 2 years ago to explore the mountains there in Sept / Oct. They said to me before I went "make sure you bring jumpers, jackets hats etc it will get very cold..." I said "how cold is very cold?" They said "about 14° / 15°c" 😂😂😂 I said ahhh thats sound its like British summer nearly that hahaha. I was in a tshirt sweating and they had jackets on feeling the cold 🥶 I do prefer the heat though for sure... although ill still be out camping in the snow later in the year 😂😂 Thanks so much for watching the videos and always leaving me a nice comment Bernie 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I do truely appreciate all of your time taken and so happy you enjoy the videos too. Hi mate yeah the whole route was very quiet didnt really see anyone apart from a few others here n there setting tents up by low water. It was on a Wednesday night in the middle of the week when I had a couple of unexpected days free. Try and do this on a weekend and you'll have loads of people floating about lol. Otherwise id have been hidden out the way for sure 😁👍🏻 Thanks for clicking on my video and watching Ryan really glad you liked it 😊😊

@@kingryan3716 Yeah I can imagine! I cut through back over the old man summit earlier on in the year enroute back from somewhere else, was around 1500 and there was about 35 - 45 people up there I reckon, was well busy! The old man in great and there are a few more spots round there. If its going to be your first wildcamp and you are going to do it on a summit then please make sure you have the correct gear and tent as you never know what the weather will do in the mountains. I usually check it on three different platforms, The Met Office, MWIS (Mountain Weather Information Service) and Mountain Weather Forecast. The last one is a good site as you ca actually enter the name of the hill or Mountain you are going and it tells you the different weathers at different elevation. It does constantly update as things change so keep an eye out. If you havent doen anything like this before then personally id prob either go a bit lower down or at a tarn maybe. Not sure if you watched my camp at Red Tarn under Helvellyn? That is an awesome place to camp and have amazing scenery. Old man or other summits are fantastic just make sure you are prepped for the wind etc to change, just incase. Let me know how you get on!! Have fun and enjoy it 😁😁🏕🏕🙏🏼🙏🏼
