I finished my triple therapy and I wasn't given any advice or help once the PPI's were finished at the same time as the antibiotics. It's been brutal, no tapering for me, I've been in agony.

Me too. It's barbaric. Finish antibiotics and PPI's at the same time, no advice, no support and the agony is real.

@@NourZibdeh I drank black seed oil to kill hpylori and I already have chronic gastritis but after drinking kalonji oil for straight 3 days, m having burning In specific area in my stomach wall, has this caused ulcer? Even drinking water causing burning as if there is a scrap skin in stomach wall

Proton pump inhibitors. These are medications that inhibit acid production in the stomach. Examples are Pantaprazole, omeprazole and others… brand names like Nexium, Prilosec and others

PPIs shut off the pumps of the stomach that secrete hydrochloric acid whereas other antacids medications do not shut off the pumps. They just act as a buffer to reduce the amount of hydrochloric acid but not completely.
