I'm an American and have lived in Khon Kaen for the past 3 years. There are many many Americans and foreigners living in Khon Kaen. Also there are many English private schools in Khon Kaen. Ton Tann market is one of a kind, you may have missed. If you have not travel to the mountains , go to Khao Kho in Phetchabun and my favorite the mountains in Nan .

I live in Khon Kaen provence (not the city but sometimes go there). Love it up here; no complaints. Super cheap for long term stays or retirement.

I don’t care what race or nationality this fella is. He s done a great job with his channel . I ve lived in USA , Thailand, and Europe. His approach is spot on. BKK is a fantastic place to live. Keep it up dude, great work and editing!!

The best city in esaan. Barely any foreigners it's better!

The thing is what most people don’t understand is this I’m born and raised in the United States and to me most Americans are passive and nieve it is obvious but at the same time overlooked heavily about what is actually going on in the world most Americans don’t be honest about it to foreigners but I will for me countries like Canada United States Australia the u.k Europe New Zealand Poland Germany Great Britain are falling behind they have less agriculture little to no farming everything is just mainly big retailers and corporations even though I never been outside the USA until now but it’s clear to me countries like Thailand and the Philippines Indonesia is a big difference than Canada usa Australia it doesn’t matter if u have a great mindset the problems are economical and things in first world countries need to change on an economical major level which won’t happen for decades from now I tell people this everyday to stop making everything so personal what happens and goes on in countries with the environment is an economical problem it doesn’t matter about the kind of mindset someone has these problems doesn’t start off on a personal level so it has nothing to do with the way a person thinks or the king of mindset someone have because if u are knowledgeable on an economical and financial level as I am you will address the real problems and issues and leave out all personal and individualization out countries do run there economies differently there is some distinctions

I want to visit here alone but don't speak any thai, will i be okay using 2-way translator apps or are people there unwiling to? Also is it safer there than in big cities like Bangkok?

Almost every Thai households couldn't avoid coexisting with house geckos, and people's views toward these little guys are quite mixed. I also has one of my friends who's bold enough to crush cockroach at ease with his bare hand, yet scream like a bitch when he saw a small house gecko.

Khon Kaen is a great place to live in, but not so much for tourism.

Monks who eat only vegetarian food Or meditate and practice Dhamma when you die and your bones are cremated. It will be a rounded, rounded pellet. It looks like a gem or a small rice grain. There are some blue, red, yellow and cloudy white, so they are called Buddha's relics. 😊🙏❤️
