You missed this in THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
Фильм және анимация
You missed THIS in The Nightmare Before Christmas. When Halloween-Town’s most famous trick or treaters, Lock, Shock, and Barrel first arrive, they each remove their mask to reveal a face that looks almost exactly the same underneath. But Tim Burton didn’t come up with this idea. It’s actually a reference to an episode of The Twilight Zone called “The Masks” where characters also take off masks to reveal faces beneath that look almost exactly the same.

Remember when Tim burton paused this scene and said “THIS IS A REFERENCE!!” I definitely missed when he did this when watching the movie in theaters

No this make sense, if you're a fan of The Twilight Zone then you might've picked it up. If not then it's easy to miss
Imagine Jack was also wearing the Pumpkin king mask that looks exactly the same as his face.
Actually, the twilight show "Masks" was that the masks formed their faces to match the masks, not the other way around.

If I recall right the masks were a reflection of their personality's. Or how the one with the death mask though of them.
Yea, I totally missed something that was never actually mentioned in the movie, and was a reference to an episode from the Twilight Zone I’ve never even heard of before. How could I have missed that, it’s so obvious

Yeah that's how references work. I do remember that episode and thought it was a cool nod.

@@BiggusNickus I think you missed my point. Yes it’s a reference to that episode of the show, but it’s not something I missed because there’s no way I would have known that just from watching the movie. It was something I didn’t know, not something I could have known but happened to miss when I watched the movie

These should just be fun facts, not missed details
i love that episode sm. they still don’t learn even after their appearance changed
Omg i remember that episode from The Twilight Zone and tbh that is the third one that I can remember
Just a reminder that although Tim Burton did come up with the character design, he wasn't the director or scriptwriter of the film.
I would’ve expected someone to point out the Grim Reaper in the background in the town meeting scene, this is a more fun did you know
I love that episode of Twilight Zone!
Lock shock and barrel
I learned about this on the filmmaker’s commentary
Dude I totally missed that!
Lock, Shock and Barrel? Reference to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels?
Did you know that in fnaf games the melody music tune when the lights go out was not the original music idea by scott but rather a classical music by Carmen and Georges B.
I legit didn't realize lol
Thank you it makes the movie more interesting 😆
Finally watched this for the first time a couple hours ago.
So not a hidden detail, but a behind the scenes fact. Of course we missed it.
It’s Me Jack Skellington That’s My Favorite Movie EVER!!!🤩
I'm a big fan of Nightmare Before Christmas and I've seen a lot of The Twilight Zone's most famous episodes and I remember a couple years ago someone was telling me about this.
This is my favorite film how have I never caught this
What's movie or show is this song from
I watched the masks pretty spooky good episode I enjoyed it
I didn't knew that
that was a great episode
yeah i totally missed that part that was not menttioned
Don’t we also see how those three met their fates? I felt like I saw that somewhere…
Isn't it lock, stock and barrel?
Cool easter egg, i mean dont argue, it is a miss refference by the whole audience, if you do recognize it then you probably watch the twilight zone
Who didn’t see the cat from Coraline!?
I haven't watched the twilight zone yet
Well thats interesting.
No I didn’t miss the part where they took Off their masks
أنا أشاهد الفيلم على التلفاز الخاص بي
If I was in that episode I don't know what he'll do to me but I would want to live with him (grandpa) with some cats.
😮
wasn't there a fan theory that the three of those kids were drowned or something? Blue lips mean hypothermia.
Little nightmare's inspiration?
Again, "you missed this" is a stretch. Maybe try, you might not have noticed this
Tim Burton didn't Even make the movie..
Nope. Didn't miss that. Even on the first time seeing the movie...
