Any resellers out there remember just because a KZread celebrity can make money off Funko Pops doesn’t mean you will. A big chunk of Hairy Tornadoes sales are from his fans. I guarantee he’ll do well on the pops but most of us wouldn’t. Just be cautious my friends. What sells great for a KZreadr might not sell for you.

@@HairyTornado 100% not saying all those for $750 (plus uhual rental, boxes, gas, etc.) wasnt worth it for you two! Probably have some worth a couple hundred or more, lots worth $50-$75, and a ton worth $20-$30. Personally speaking, as your average reseller, they have proven not to be. They sit for quite a while, they go in waves of popularity, and someone like myself doesnt have the reach you might have (which like, im pumped you do!. I know you guys arent the average person/reseller haha). I hope you make bucket loads of money off them!

Sell them fast. They’re dropping in value and desirability quickly. I used to sell them like crazy at flea markets and my antique booth. The last year I’ve reduced prices multiple times and they still just sit. I think the Funko fad has faded.

That second Goodwill is my favorite one I’ve visited. The Grand Opening was crazy! Nice finds

Awe…Funko pop was my hunting ground once upon a time and like most trends, it’s gone down a lot. Haven’t bought one since 2021 and I have 450+ sitting in storage boxes. But it was fun while it last. Great haul and good luck on the sells! ❤

Very straight forward but very tedious and the bubble wrapping of every pop to ship stinks. I changed my business model from bulk pops to only selling pops over $10. All of the cheap pops in the lots I purchased got resold on as a bulk picked sale.

Agreed. Not only that, they take up so much space. Go into any GameStop and you will see what a mistake they made. They have walls of Funkos discounted at almost 80% off. $3-5 a piece. Horrible investment.

Dude...your Goodwills are so good. Our Goodwills individually price EVERYTHING. Including shirts, hats, and books! Our shoes typically start at $10 a pair as well.

I sold my pop collection years ago. Looked at todays value of My old collection and it is now worth a little under half of what they were worth when I sold. Hopefully you can get rid of them quick!

I feel you. I had to rent a 15 foot Uhaul for a Funko Pop lot that I bought out of South Florida last year. Over 1800 Pops. Lots of fun

I miss North Carolina goodwill prices. Moved back to Texas 2 years ago and was horrified by the prices. Hats run about $5, shirts run $7-15, shoes are outrageous depending on brands. So sourcing has become a challenge. Thankfully we do have a bins goodwill here.

Hi Josh been selling funko for a good 5 year. For the fully hollowfied ichigo 1104 sell for $10. It's the chase variety that sell for $40

My wife and I picked up a Vera Bradly purse today for $3. It is really nice and was a great deal.

shoes at my local goodwill are not a flat price and are $8.99 to start, seen them as high as $35. From Tampa area

Vintage luggage might be cool but i find that it is might weigh 15 lbs. (we live in Europe but are Americans, so every lb. is precious). We invested in new luggage which is as light as possible - at Walmart. Surprisingly enough, they've lasted us through several trips.

your box will be stronger if you fold one flap under and then one over then tape in a cross that what even with out the tape the box can stay closed hope you understand what I am trying to say great video by the way

Some people want out of Funko as fast as they can and others top, top dollar. I just don't see losing money so I keep mine, but since I've accidentally broken one and damaged some boxes. People won't touch slightly dented boxes with a ten ft pole.

Enjoy your shoe prices. Here in Washington State, Goodwills shoes range from $15-$45.

Hi Josh these videos are really awesome, I just wanted to know what you thought of the method of sourcing stock from Facebook marketplace and then getting people to post the item. This way you are able to source from all over the country, obviously it has its negatives, but it has proven a really good way for me to source in the past months.

every category is about 90% less then 10 dollars each item, sport cards, hot wheels, comics, records and especially Funko pop. Most were never more than 10 to begin with and everyone knows that they were mass produced. But still should get at least 7 to 10 dollars average each and pretty easy to ship and pack. Should still make a profit and that's what it's all about.

I’ve heard of a Goodwill near Charlotte that gets lost luggage from the airport. Maybe worth a trip to film and search for mythical thrift stores?

Good luck selling those Funko pops. Dead hobby now. I was a huge collector with probably 1000+ pops. Most people only buy the bulk pops at around 30-40% now. Grails are basically the only things that move easily

I didn't know that Funko's were still worth the bother - obviously I was wrong! Hint - I keep a pile of new insoles on hand for good shoes who have lost theirs. So easy to add to the parcel and I have sold shoes that were worth a decent amount and had great feedback from buyers.

Our GW charges $7.99 for tshirts now. Pretty ridiculous. Even if it's a walmart generic tee you can get new for $3-4. Lol

I’m actually the opposite in mindset. I really only want to buy commons that people can impulse purchase for $5-$10. The way I see it, pops really can’t drop in value much less than $5-$10. I’d rather buy a bunch at $3 and sell for $8-$10 than a few at $50 and hope the market goes up. Hope that makes sense
