You HAVE to Play This FREE VR Game // INTENSE VR Space Walk!

Ойындар

This incredible intense short VR experience is one of the best FREE VR games on Steam and it works with modern headsets like the Quest 3! This is Home: A VR Spacewalk, a BBC funded VR game that puts you into the shoes of an astronaut aboard the ISS who is about to embark on their first ever spacewalk to assess and fix some damage that was dealt to the structure. It's a short, and mostly scripted, VR experience that you can play through in under 15minutes (or you can make it last longer if you hang around and really breathe in the atmosphere) but there is a little replayability with two different endings and different weathers & views of the earth when you play. My personal recommendation would be to play this one standing up for the full effect...but if you don't have strong VR legs you should DEFINITELY play it sitting down, it might be one of the best free VR games but you might pay the price by losing your lunch when things get intense. We definitely need more VR spacewalk experiences or a full blown VR ISS game where you have to carry out tasks and keep the station running... or... a horror game set aboard the ISS!
If you want to visit space from the comfort of your home download Home A VR Spacewalk now for free on Steam, this VR gameplay was captured on a 4090 VR ready PC with a Quest 3 connected via a link cable, however this game doesn't require a PC VR setup that's particularly powerful to experience it.

Came to the comments to make sure this was mentioned. The first time you exit the airlock is an exploration, breathtaking experience! Lone Echo and Lone Echo 2 are some of the best games I've ever played. I actually went into mourning for a couple of days after I finished LE 2 because that meant that my time as a space robot was over.

Lone Echo is definitely one of the best VR experiences I've had so far. I don't understand why they haven't put it on Steam or ported it to Quest yet, it's an absolute masterpiece. There are several gems on the old store that deserve to be given more prominence, like Stormland or Asgard's Wrath 1.

@@r1l3y72 No man's sky surely got a lot going on for it but in Outer Wild you play in an active solar system where time play a huge role in the game. Planet move around the sun and some planets conditions change depending on time and where it is located in the system. There's also a lot of mysteries you can only unravel during a specific event in the system. Ship maneuver also heavily depend on gravity and physics, you can easily die from being careless. It only depend on what kind of experience your looking for. No man's sky surely is the better sandbox game with a lots of content but for me Outer Wild is the better exploration game as it is it main focus.

I can't tell you because the game consistently crashed within 10 seconds of being able to move my hands with the motion controllers. While I appreciate the recommendation, I now find it necessary to ask what are the specs for those that are able to successfully play this game. Is it like the situation with Alien: Isolation where the mod works on Win 10, but is 'flip a coin to see if it works' on Win 11?

The only thing missing are the vast amounts of Star Jellies, aka Space Phenomena 1, all around. They range from small to huge. The tether breakaway footage from the STS-75 back in the 90s as shown in the now classic "Secret NASA Transmissions: The Smoking Gun" video is a perfect example of the countless amount of Star Jellies there are out there. Space isn't a void, but an interstellar ocean full of xenobiological life. NASA will acknowledge the existence of SP1 and SP2 (Rainbow Darters), but won't talk about them, even though there is plenty of footage showing them throughout the years. From the various videos, they don't care about humans. They feed off of a particular gaseous energy in the upper atmosphere of the Earth, blossoming like little suns in the process, then basically going transparent upon moving to space again. You really can't see them other than in infrared, unless they bloom or flash in communication, very much like a squid, octopus or cuttlefish, to which they share a lot of similarities.
