I love that nokturnal mortum demo one of my favorite black metal releases. A blue album cover that immediately comes to mind for me is gorements full length the ending quest.

That Gorement album is one of my all-time favorite DM releases. Have it in that "Within The Shadow of Darkness" compilation. Those demos are absolutely lethal.

Definitely worth owning on LP, if it's the Real Gone Music pressing, which I was showing. Sounds phenomenal. There's a deluxe cd pressing that came out not too long ago as well. I'm sure it sounds dynamite!

Some really cool blue albums you’ve dug out here Trev mate. That bathory double Lp is a must. I’m with you on schizophrenia though I think morbid visions just pips it for me. And Tony Martin era sabbath is criminally underrated. Have a good week mate 🤘🏻

Can't blame ya there! Morbid Visions is fuckin' bestial for its time. And Tony Martin still sounds great! I jammed his latest solo album "Thorns" on an almost daily basis over the course of the first few weeks of it being out. Thanks for watching, Dylan!

Solid listing's! A few I'm not familiar with I'm be looking into. There's so many black metal albums that are predominantly blue is wild 😂

Yeah, blue or purple is all the rage for BM covers. Ben McMillan. He unfortunately died back in... I believe '08, from Diabetes.

Good idea for a video! Lunar Poetry was the first one I thought of. I really like the re-recording too. They both have such different vibes that they feel like two separate albums to me. I was down on Nordland when it came out, I need to see how I feel about it now. Dehumanizer rules; I feel like they were trying to remake it with Heaven and Hell but it just didn't work. I know a lot of the old heads like Martin Popoff hate it, their loss. Cheers Trevor!

Dude, I feel the same way about that re-recording they did of it. And the cover art is spectacular! Had to get it on both CD and LP, just for that album art. Haha. I should probably dive more into my Nokturnal Mortum collection. I would put Nordland, and certainly Nordland II over anything Bathory had done since Hammerheart. I do admittedly like Octagon, though. 😂 Martin Popoff also said that The Final Frontier was Maiden's best work since Powerslave. So... take what you will with that. Lol. Much appreciated, Scott! Never heard of those guys, that being said I’m not much into black metal like most. The others I have heard. For some reason was under the assumption Grunttruck was a hardcore band?! I dig that! Cheers man
