@@FirebirdCamaro1220 Can you tell me what’s appealing about Darkness Descends? I’ve tried giving it many chances but I find it very bland and one-note. The riffs are barely distinguishable and the song writing isn’t that memorable.
I have physical copies of 37 out of these 40 albums. Nice!

I've always considered Alice in Hell a very underated album, is very technical, very fast, and has some nice musical composition. It should be on The first 20 Best albums at least.

Kill 'Em All, Peace Sells But Who's Buying, and Bonded By Blood should be higher in my opinion
Inheritance, from Artillery, it's one of the most underrated albums of all time. And Ride the Lightning in first, made my day!
I feel Anthrax was under represented here.

Un poco porque lo old school marco toda la generación de músicos y un poco porque si son buenos. Pero, bandas como Revocation, o Havok tienen mejores álbumes que varios que están ahí.

@@gerardodiaz9957 Claro y es entendible, el problema que veo es la mentalidad cerrada de los metalerus de creer que solo lo viejo es bueno y lo actual mediocre cuando en ambas épocas hay bandas con calidad... Si por ejemplo buscas un top de "mejores álbumes de Hip-Hop de TODOS los tiempos" incluirán To Pimp a Butterfly (2015) de Kendrick Lamar porque saben que es un clásico moderno a la altura de trabajos viejos clásicos, acá chillarían si insinuas que hay bandas iguales o mejores que el Big 4 en la actualidad.

Reign in Blood not on the first Place makes the whole List a Joke. Where was Destruction, Tankard, Sacred Reich or Exumer, where was Chaos A. D. from Sepultura or Act III from Death Angel. I can't believe that you put Megadeth bevor Slayer.

Honestly I can kinda understand the exclusion of crossover thrash but excluding tech thrash just seems stupid. It's a really shitty term of a microgenre which really just serves purpose to differentiate music a single bit better on RYM. You wouldn't listen to "Semtex Revolution" and say that it's not eligible for a list like this, there's barely any substantial difference between the two terms, it's just proggy thrash, but still thrash. One wouldn't exclude "None So Vile" from a best death metal records list.

Finally a list that doesn't put on top these useless obscure thrash metal bands. You can't beat the classics. I would have put reign in blood and beneath the remains higher in the list (even if I consider beneath the remains death metal) but it's a solid list anyway

El Ride the Lightning es un clasico mucho más importante que el Rust in Peace, y con temas mucho más emblematicos . Y bueno , el Black Album es el disco de Metal más vendido de la historia, con temas que han trascendido fronteras ,Megadeth nunca se ha acercado ni siquiera a Metallica ( tampoco en los 90 ).

The RYM community is pretty harsh with ratings. The top rated albums across all genres on there barely get across 4.30. Any album above a 4.0 is an extremely good score

Incredibile...su 40 titoli non condivido nemmeno UNA posizione :') Impossibile, poi, che su una lista di 40 possano restare fuori cose tipo Coroner, Agent Steel, Voivod o Prong e ci sono quasi discografie intere di una stessa band (TUTTO degli Slayer, quasi tutto dei Metallica compreso And Justice che, insomma, è deboluccio... Poi svariati titoli degli Over kill e manca Feel The Fire, autentico capolavoro thrash! Mah :')))
