Congratulations to Marcus and Randy in the previous episode on getting their Coues bucks. Always a good selling point when applying for species in AZ and buying that $160 non refundable hunting license is that if people are able to allocate the time they can use that license for a small game smorgasbord hunt as you have done at least the past four or five years. That meal at the end including the heart looked amazing I could almost smell it.

Doesn't matter about the camera Randy, you and Marcus did fantastic jobs. Congratulations to both.

A tradition that my dad and I had when we hunted together was heart/tongue soup the night of the kill. Some carrots, onion, garlic, taters, salt/pepper and cubes of heart/tongue. MAN... that was some fine dining with some buttered bread and a cup of coffee !! Congrats you two on filling the tags.

That palmation on yours is freakin sweet Marcus! Congrats friend. Thank you for sharing this, I appreciate y'all very much.

Really enjoyed this trip. The Randy and Marcus duo is always a win. Thanks for bringing us along for the adventure.

Great job. Thanks for the cooking segment too. Venison heart is really good like you served it. Pan fried in butter, sliced 3/4” thick, lightly seasoned, it turns out awesome! 👍🏼🦌🇺🇸

COVID had me down and out for three weeks. I'm getting back at it.

Listened to the podcast and couldn't wait for the videos. I loved it when you said, "vittles." Marcus kind of reminds me of Tobey Maguire and there's a scene from "Ride with the Devil" where his character orders vittles. Just made me chuckle a bit.

Heart is AWESOME sammiches. Though I tend to cut it thinner than that. Best camp lunches ever. Grill or fry the heart, toss it on a grilled cheese with a soft-er and/or smoked cheese. Add a bowl of soup for extra points. Makes me drool a little thinking about it...

Guilty, but after all your raving about the heart I was determined to try it. I was able to fill my archery muley tag this year and I will say I'm converted! Heart is very good!

Marcus that was a stout shot. Hard to be quiet stalking is the desert..I don’t know how guys take their boots off and stalk in their socks. I always seem to be. A magnet for cactus thorns.

Great hunt, now about the Deer 0 and M&R 14. That would only hold true if the extra point was kicked, let's see that footage! :)

Standard 3M masking tape (I get mine at Lowe’s) works great with freezer paper.

Looks like Marcus scrimped on the motel room. ha ha

My friends ran into you at the Gas station down there and took some photos with you, I shot a 90+ inch buck and my friend shot a 100+ inch buck that I missed 15 mins before shooting the one i got during our November rifle hunt.

Excellent idea Randy if you fly to the hunt. Otherwise invest in a Fat truck, made in Winnipeg Canada. and pull it behind the Raptor. After all you're getting up there in years like me lol.

Can you guys do a segment on how to process a deer at home? Like all the cuts, cleaning the meat, how to wrap, ect.???

We have a few videos on our channel of doing that. Deer, moose, elk, etc. If you search for "processing" on our channel you should be able to find some.

I wish it was a 15 minute drive for us. I'd be a bigger pest to those deer and quail than I already am.

I always pack my vacuum packer . Especially if you have access to electricity.

Dang it Randy its dry as a bone not board what the heck, but thank God your there to do it..

Love watching your channel. Interesting that you did not let the deer to sit for at least a day for the meat to soften before freezing. Why?

I have always wondered what that little thing was for....

A tip when boiling the skulls, don’t boil them just simmer them on low heat. Meat and everything will come off but nose bones will stay intact every single time.

Great video guys. So since you are flying back... How do you pack those racks to make sure they do not get damaged during the flight?

Randy, just got accepted as a volunteer for Hunt of a lifetime yesterday. Come to find out there are few associates here in Wyoming. I was wondering if you or anyone else on here have any private land or outfitter contacts here in Wyoming? I thought with all of your connections you may know of a few good places to start. Currently I am working to secure lands for opportunities and then once season rolls around I will be working in the field with the kids in any capacity necessary. Randy, Read your rental car agreement...most don't allow any off-highway usage. YMMV, but if you make a nice video, they have evidence. LOL
