Redbook sure is "lowballing it" , if , this Auction actually happened. TAKE these guy's advice folks - be SURE to check on internet auction final sales.
Hey BlueRidge, I've been watching your videos for over a year. They're incredible and informative. This video serves as the example to why it matters to learn, be informed, and discuss valuable coins in all different series in order to know where to chase value when an opportunity arises you weren't expecting. I just bought 4 incredible BU 1969-D rolls of Jefferson Nickels that were collecting dust in the back of a small coin shop. I only paid 2x face. I pulled out 1 full step designation last night, MS 65 at worst. Thank you, BlueRidge!
Thanks for the info, love all the information you give me...
Easily the most informative numismatic channel on the Tube. Ignore the "haters." (tempted to use stronger language).
Ta hell with anyone who says that about your channel I haven't find a video I didn't like yet And your giving us knowledge on coins we all can find. So ty Blue Ridge
Don’t worry about rude, pessimistic people because there are plenty of us that appreciate the information and knowledge you’re passing down to us and your time. All that goes in to creating, editing plus preparing all of the information and content to be able to finally upload isn’t lost on some of us, your subscribers. Thank you. (I know this is from long ago but just watched it. I don’t usually follow much on Jefferson’s. )
Content of your videos are educational to say the least. Haters going to hate. Screw um! Keep up the good work.
Love your videos keep up the good work
Great information. Love your videos!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Thanks BlueRidgeSilverHound. Good stuff as always
Great video as always, Thank you!😊
Coins like that can definitely be found roll hunting. I came across a collection dump earlier this year that had several MS coins in the rolls. All it takes is patience, diligence and some luck! Thanks for the info, I always enjoy your videos!
I can't believe that you are even acknowledging the haters out there, BlueRidge; you say it best about this hobby- It takes time, patience, and most importantly; Research and Knowledge!! Which, you bestow on us, with your own time very graciously... and by the way; these type of coins are most definitely out there, waiting to be pulled from circulation in time.

Found a 52 proof set for $150, got a error quarter in the set (superbird with hand engraved tail feathers), so I can attest it just takes a little searching. Helps to get lucky too, I bought the set to grade the amazing penny in it and got a nice surprise.
Your so right. It's a lot of time and long hours looking. And I'm going to tell you there's not a pot of gold at the end of most rainbows. But if you don't love the hunt or everything you put into this. Then all your about is getting the big sale. Coin hunting is my passion I love it. Heck when I get change at a store I get excited just to go home and look thru it. And watching KZread videos and going on line and I eat it up. I want to learn everything I can about coins and notes. And thank you for taking the time sharing your knowledge. Peace and love to all.

I have probably 20,000 coins to go through...I thank God I found your videos but curse you in the same breathe haha cause I can't stop until I go through every last one of them haha....I've been through about 250-500 just guessing judging by the pile and I have found a few DD pennies and that's about it so far but I just know I probably got some good coins....oh almost forgot I have a 1964 p DD dime but it's worn down pretty good but you can still easily tell it's a DD ....I figure it's still worth a dollar or two... Anyhow I thank you for everything you do and go through to bring us your videos... they're very informative and motivational not like the other monotoned videos with misleading information..YOUR VERY APPRECIATED... I appreciate you making these videos which opened my eyes to the conditionally rare common date coin game. Thanks for the info and keep doing your thing bro. Really what is to hate? Even if you have to get proofs to search or whatever. So far, every time that I paid a small premium to say get a bag of unsearched wheats or a few mint rolls of a date I like to search. It's paid off every time. Paid $8 for three wheat rolls from my local coin shop. Found a 1936 DDO-OO3. Went back and got another three rolls and found a 1936 ddo-001. Bough a few rolls of 2009 cents and got about 40 varieties of doubled die extra thumbs. Bought a date set like I don't know what it's called exactly but it has one of each coin from a certain year in a hard plastic case. The store sells the case itself for about $2 I think. Then it has a half dollar, quarter, nickel, penny, and dime. I think I only paid $6 for the set. I only wanted the dime because I know it was silver and I had a feeling like maybe I could see something on it. Sure enough the dime ened up being a doubled die obverse. So thats like at least $10 cause it's not in the best condition but dang. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money people. It's great to search change cause you can't lose. You still have change. But iny own experience it pays to spend a little if you know what you are looking for.
Good job, nice work on the illustration
Thanks Again.
love the videos, great info, big fan of yours, keep em coming, ty
Silverhound Don't let the haters get to you . I have a whole roll of 1964's most of them are unc mint set but they are not FS . YOU ARE DOING A GOOD JOB THANK YOU!!!!!. DAVID A.

I really enjoy your videos on coins Thanks again
You do justice, and so right sometime takes looking thru 100's of rolls .but that why they call it a hobby
Thanks.
Awesome video thanks.
Always love your videos
Thanks...I have hope!
your awsome i hope you do more. of these as you put it more obtainable vids but please dont stop with your other videos you help so much
Dude loving your videos . new to it . learned a ton from all your videos .
Your awesome . You taught me a lot thanks .
This is good video with great information. This represents a very practical, common sense area for collectors, to begin a "Search Criteria". I'm teaching my son to go obtain bank rolls and perform searches for these coins, that may still be found. Anything worth doing, requires belief, effort, diligence and commitment to continuity, to be successful. Thank You, Blue Ridge Silver Hound!

I HAVE 1964 1967 JEFFERSON NICKEL
Love your vids
I think there were some videos where I did not agree, but i'm no hater... At the end of the day I always give a quick glance down when change is given to me and look for anything that shines more than usual. Gas stations or Mini Marts are great places to find these. Realistically, someone that really needs a pack of smokes will plunder a family member or friends coin collection and spend them at face value.

Apoint Tomake absolutely! You got that right. I always check my change now. Used to let cashiers keep it if it wasn't much but I don't do that anymore. And yes, people will always grab someone's change to go buy something without knowing anything about coins. My grandparents had a huge collecting of old coins, half dollars etc, when I was a kid. If I wanted to go buy some candy I would raid the drawer they kept them in and go buy it. No telling what those coins would be worth today. At the very least I know they were all silver.
I faund 15 of them in coin rolls in the bank although they don't have full steps .
Great job I found them myself keep up the good work Champs
You offer amazing content. From a variety of big fish to little fish so to speak. I just started paying attention to coins and paper money about a month ago. A week or two ago I found a 1982-S Proof Jefferson nickel in my change at a gas station. Although I don't think it's worth a whole lot, it's a coin that is not even supposed to be found in circulation yet, somehow it was.
Keep up the great work. Egypt
Thank you for making great videos! Please keep doing so! I found a 1939 Jefferson nickel with no mint mark today and it looks to me that it is in wonderful condition, I was hoping you would tell me if its worth sending off to get graded based on the year? I think its in great condition and I believe worth getting a grade, just didnt know if the year would make a difference on the grade. Thank you for any response and info! Thanks again for your time you spend making videos for us to learn from!
Excellent video, great subject perspective, informative, etc.. Your the man! Screw the haters. Keep up the good work... Thanks !!!!!

Always good content.
I loved your videos..perfect voice..
Keep up the great work brother its greatly appreciated, your knowledge and advice is brilliant and dont take any notice of the haters. Blessings from Ireland.
don't listen to the haters you are helping other collectors like me
Thank you we appreciate your service that you provide. Haters are always gonna hate. I do this for them 🙏🏽. Love you bro I know that as exciting as this work can be it is work. 👍✌🏻.
Don't ever mention "haters" or any of their comments. When you do, it makes them gleeful because they only seek attention, and negative attention is better than no attention at all. Far better to scroll down, quietly delete their comment(s) and no matter what, never mention them or their comments. They'll soon seek out someone else, one who will give them the attention they long for. You'll be the better man for it. Thank you kindly for the knowledge you share with others. 😉
I appreciate your advice alot thanks and God bless because of you educating me I now see that I had money in the piggy bank this whole time!
You have a great channel. Keep it up.
Glad you said what you did. I bought a proof set wanting a full steps nickel. There was no full steps, in my option. So was wondering how are they finding full steps, if new ones don't have. Lol
I'm not a coin collector, and i've received back my change from walmart which was a 1960 jefferson nickel. So i don' t know whether to keep it or used it?

New to tube. No hate from me. Appreciate the time and info sharing. I've come across many of the pocket change profitables. Haven't collected yet I'm sure I circulated some nice ones. Nice to see them again.

Hey bud, you should also talk about Raw, circulated and professionally ungraded coins and what they sold at as well. Talking about coins that were not graded by any Grading Company.
Love it ...no steps 60 ,but does have vertical lines beside the columns and all windows but no full steps lol.
Hey, your's is my favorite coin channel, hands-down. Regarding these Jeffersons with full steps. I understand one can search for these in BU rolls and pocket change. However, I also understand that a cherry-picked full steps specimen from a special mint set, would not qualify as the same rarity, as those are made with highly polished dies. However, I have a 1962 or 1964, which I pulled from one of those mint sets that the mint mailed out in the flat cellophane packs. I'm confident it may get the FS designation. If I did send it in for grading and it came back with the FS designation, would this nickel still be considered valuable just as if it had been found in a BU roll? It definitely didn't come from a special mint set (i.e. it's not frosted or cameo at all). I would appreciate any help. Keep up the great videos. You are sincerely appreciated by this subscriber!
Dear SHAWN. I am THINKING of breaking up my Thomas Jefferson coinage and currency set😞I wanted to personally ask you... What do you think the worth of the coin/ collectors 250th anniversary dollar is valued ? Please KEEP this as a personal text cause I am still very new at this.! Sincerely APPRECIATE this. That also apply s to my nickels. I have done so much homework that I genuinely learned from you...and I am very honest...all the coin collectors helped me. I truly love your Monday Market report and your knowledge. Thank you. I don't let many people in my life cause they 'I don't like to talk bad about people. So..sorry for such a long letter... should I start with a perfect nickel... or does the PCGS slab Medallions also? Thank You For Your Time. That in itself is priceless. And the h-ll with the people who don't BELIEVE.
Thank you very much Blue, I, m very new at collecting coin and I,m trying to learning everything from your videos. I have some Jefferson nickels 1955 d 1954 s 1953s and 1968d, and they are in very good condition.. Can you please tell me where should I take them for a second opinion? I,m located here in San Antonio, Texas
My blue 62 and 63 f/$ is gonna be nice once graded

Hey Silver man, thanks for your hard work every day and night, it's hard but thanks for your information two thumbs up...Thanks again man...🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅.......
I have two 1964-D nickles and one 1968-S nickle. On one of the 1964 nickles on the back there are some slightly seen straight horizontal lines on the front steps, but this nickle doesn't have an FS anywhere on it. Now the 1968-S does have the FS in the front on the bottom of Jefferson barely seen, but you can't see the steps on the backside of the nickle unless use lighting and a magnifying glass/es and tilting the nickle to see the steps.
Great job funding the full steps!! I have a few from old sets in family but had to take yellow tape off the back of coins I found 1969 d full steps and 1972 full steps I'm thrilled not sure if I'll send in some Knicks on them

Question for you. I have a Jefferson Nickel with very crisp detail, but it's brown, like bronze. I've never been able to find out what it's made of or if it's worth anything. Would you maybe know?
