Following people on social media...being a fan...it's a slippery position to be in. You can end up having a one sided relationship with someone who doesn't know you exist..assuming all kinds of things about who they really are as a person or their personal life, leading to let downs or odd behavior.
I've been dealing with the loss of a good friend and seeing the response to their passing on social media along with everything happening regarding Doja Cat/Lizzo has made it clear...people need to take a step back and understand they don't know everything.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost my bestfriend of 10+ years in march to an OD and I still cry everyday honestly Needed to hear this today so glad I stumbled across this…sending you love!

somehow really needed to hear this today. i recently lost a childhood friend, friendship of about 20 years, because i’m bad at keeping up with people lately…i’m bad at remembering dates and knowing certain things but i am trying. i’ve always been there for bigger things and had defended her throughout our lives, even against shitty boyfriends and through all the bad phases. i just wish i had that patience & understanding from them, going through my last relationship really broke me and i don’t think i could really put that experience into words, so of course, no one could really understand. but i have to keep in mind that not everyone will understand, so i have to keep going and improving, even if there is some loss on the way. sometimes patience and a little understanding goes a long way. no one knows 100% of what a person is going through. hope everyone heals ❤

That's so challenging. It's hard to juggle all the things and people we love in our lives when it feels like our own internal world is crumbling. Hopefully with time and healing your friend will understand and yall can build up a closer and even better friendship moving forward
with Doja cat, I think it had more to do how she said it.
