Hi, I just wanted to let you know that sometimes people (like me) watch on the tv because your visuals are so great. However, as with my tv, it doesn’t allow me to leave a comment. Thank you for the video explaining the significance of the kotel. I was there late September 2019, and I got a distinct feeling of the idolatry that some of the Ultra Orthodox Jewish men exhibited toward the wall. They were kissing stones incessantly, and praying and crying. I don't fault them for feeling sad about the destruction of their temple, but the retaining wall is not part of the temple. I know that the next temple built on that mountain is going to be taken away from the Jews yet again, only this time it's going to be occupied by the Antichrist, and when Yeshua returns to the Mount of Olives that whole area's topography is going to be permanently changed, and the Lord Yeshua Messiah is going to build His own Temple, which will endure for the whole thousand years of His reign from Jerusalem. After that is complete, there will be a New Heaven and Earth that will last forever.

We were there Oct-Nov 2014 with our ten-year old son. My husband also came to Israel and visited the Western Wall when he was ten-years old. It was intensely moving to participate in the generational pilgrimage.

He's totally wrong!!! The Bible says that the temple was in the city of David and the temple had to have a lot of water but there's none on the so called temple mount but plenty in the city of David!!! Jesus said that not one stone would be upon another and he was never wrong and didn't lie!!! There's plenty of videos now that prove that the temple was in the city of David, just Google it!!!

If only “my” people knew of you and your work I KNOW it would change their view of the land. IT IS YOUR LAND/YOUR CITY/YOUR NATION. What is commonly called the temple mount is the only place in all of Jerusalem where you will find Herodian stones still stacked one upon another. Two eyewitnesses who walked the streets of Jerusalem, the temple, and witnessed the destruction in 70 AD gave eyewitness reports that Jerusalem was leveled to the very foundations, so thoroughly destroyed to the ground that you would not believe a city was ever there. Except for the fortress of those who destroyed it (Eleazar 73 AD). The Romans did not tear down fort Antonia, why would they? And it continued to house the 10th legion for centuries afterwards. Herod enlarged the Hasmonean Baris and built fort Antonia, you can still see those stones next to the seam. The fort was massive as most Roman forts, near 40 acres in size. Josephus said it completely overshadowed the temple and you could not see the temple at all when approaching from the north. Believe what you want, I'll go with the eyewitnesses.

I always check like button before i watch your video--always. I find it difficult to understand how Herod got to the throne because his background, he was NOT Jewish. He was evil. killing family members and got away with his evil. But, he managed to build awesome Temple at the time, in addition to other buildings. For many like myself who may never get to go to Jerusalem it is so wonderful to be there and visualize where ancient historical locations are situation, m\thanks from the bottom of my heart.

The western wall is the wall of the old Roman fortress Antonio!!! The temple was in the city of David just like the Bible says!!!! Jesus said that not one stone would be upon another and this guy is saying that Jesus was wrong!!! The temple had to have plenty of water and there's none on the so called temple mount but plenty in the city of David!!! The size of the temple mount is the same size as all the old Roman fortresses!!!! There's plenty of videos now that proves that the temple was in the city of David just like God's word says!!! Just Google it!

It's to bad he's wrong about everything!!! The temple was in the city of David just like God's word says!!! That wall is the wall of the old Roman fortress Antonio and the size of the so called temple mount is the size of all the Romans fortresses at that time!!! The temple had to have plenty of water and the only water is in the city of David!!! There's plenty of videos now that proves where the temple was, just Google it!!!

I read that in the early middle ages, Jews originally gathered at the eastern wall and Mount of Olives to mourn the Temple. After getting harassed by bandits etc, they moved to the western wall for safety.
