I remember cosplaying one of the characters of this anime. To be honest it wasn't on purpose since it was just some random yukata I bought with the "anime style". Those ending notes always send shivers down my spine

One of the best anime, I ever watched. Maybe it’s a hot take but I love it when mangaka or artists in general have the courage to talk about complex, difficult issues. Maybe there is only a very small minority of people that experience such incestuous love but they are still there and it’s very hard for them. Because the point that is being made, is that nobody can decide who they fall in love with.

Literally buffered like Internet Explorer when I read the description and then the memories just came crashing back

I cryed listening that. Very emotional anime especially in a dark period of my life.

Yosuga no Sora entire OST is amazing, and I still listen to it all the time. I can fully understand people getting turned off by the anime itself but you gotta admit that the music is beautiful.

@@op-rc7mz When I watched it, I've already seen a lot of borderline hentai and stuff like that. And I still wasn't prepared. If getting your family pregnant isn't one of your worries, you can't prepare for this anime. But even tho that this anime is, what it is, I would recommend this to everyone who want's to call himself a weeb/otaku. It's a essential experience to be truly one of us. How else do you truly know what you are talking about, when we chat about or weeb-rick roll? That's at least my opinion.

@@maggoteater2290 The series is divided into arcs, kinda like a Visual Novel. Once a route is complete (Aka: a girl is conquered) the shows rewinds to the a specific part for the mc to choose another girl. Give it a try and look it for what it is, fiction. Maybe then you can enjoy it.

On a more serious note, the anime is actually pretty sad. Sure, they had a happy ending of their own, but I feel like there's a bigger issue they were downplayinh & it would eventually catch up to them someday. For one, Sora seems to have developed an excessive attachment to her brother, which is a bit understandable since they were both orphaned and were made to depend on each other. They were just children, after all. They didn't really know other kinds of love- fraternal (their parents died and relatives left them), platonic (sora doesn't have friends and the guy only has girl friends he'd wanna fuck). That leaves them the romantic one. Plus, they were apart for long (which meant they skipped that "developing sibling hate" stage) they're twins (twins usually have a stronger bond than normal siblings) and lastly, they're orphaned & only have each other. The love was probably very, very intense. And no one was really there to guide them.

Additionally in the VN at the lake scene, Sora came to the realization that her intense blind love for Haru was a selfish one that caused trouble for the one she loved, so at least she has understood by then. Not that I disagree with your other points, they are the perfect representation of horny teenagers lmao.
