I know many people will laugh but This anime really is a masterpiece for me. The artwork, animation, OSTs ( it has some of the best musics I ever listened) and ofc the story. This anime was able to portray its main theme memories and forbidden love in the best way possible, unlike the ones now a days. And Yeah, I too would like it without the erotic scenes cause, without them, I bet those who laugh at this would be the one to praise it even more

I cant explain this feeling... its like i remember a past life or something...

In my top 5 anime taking 3rd to be specific. Genuinely one of the best animes ever made. The music, scenery, story, writing and character development is almost unbeaten by other anime to this date. I was 13 when I originally watched this and man watching it again gave the same feels as back then. I can’t ever forget this anime and honestly I don’t care how people hate on it for incest and ecchi. They add to the plot in ways hard to understand but I can say that without all the steamy stuff you wouldn’t feel so connected to the story or characters it adds depth and for that I like it. Legendary anime worth more recognition than it ever got and still viable as a goto to this day.

I haven't watched a ton of anime as I'm just getting into it, but this was one of the first ones I watched, top three so far 100% have to be Horimiya, Yosuga no Sora, and Tsuredure Children. My expectations are too high when I start another anime now that I've watched these masterpieces, Horimiya's and YnS's music and storylines can't be topped. Not to mention how good the ending to YnS was, it really does bring the story to a satisfying close with basically everything answered, unlike way too many other animes.

But in truth I think of it as separate verses like how haru ended up with different women giving a different ending. In one they both drown. But in another they are saved and live on and whilst the second is cannon it’s nice to think about each ending as separate storylines each purposefully done to add depth to the story, honestly no other anime I know does this. Great anime that’s hardly been beat to this date.

I like Yosuga no Sora just cuz of Sora and Haru.

I watched this anime a year after it came out back in 2011 and it's still a very vivid and nostalgic memory of my adolescence. I was 15 at the time. It was quite a shock back in the day. This anime and its plot were handling a very very touchy and forbidden subject. Even with that... it managed to win a place in my heart because in the end, it was a very good and profound story and the OST, Opening and Ending songs were and still are a masterpiece. For what are my opinions about the whole incest thing... All I can say is that I kind of agreed with what Nao said in the final episode. Who am I really to judge another person on who they should or shouldn't love? Even though I know it's a very controversial matter and it's wrong in quite a few aspects...

I knew it was incest but I still watched and treated it like any other anime, I focused on the way of story telling, music timing, plots, characters… it was beautiful. The first two sex scene were quick fan services it didn’t fit perfectly, I didn’t mind, but it did set up the standard for what’s about to happen with the summer rape and sora incest which were truly godlike. It contained heavy emotions so heavy it messes with our beliefs. The character development slowly progressed as the timeline spins round and around into a different arc. Same characters same settings, one different choice and a whole different story. This way of storytelling leaves the viewer with endless food for thoughts, the more you think the better it gets. It leaves so much space for imagination as this OST swipes your mind blank and now you’re experiencing this feeling you’ve never had before.

I beg to differ with the fan service stuff. The first two sex scenes weren't pointless, it moved the plot to its conclusion. I don't believe this anime gets enough recognition because people degrade it to just another hentai anime when it's really deeper than that. But I'm glad more people in the comments section here liked it. I think it really deserves the attention.
