I think it seems a great yacht with great value.

I am a sailor but I can see the day coming when I will hang up my spinnaker and buy a motor yacht. This is exactly the kind of boat that will meke me do that. My wife can't wait!

come to the dark side, it has all the carnal pleasures that are forbidden for sailors. standard bow and stern thrusters, fully weather protected helm and nav stations, tech like radars, sonars, IR, and shit ton on cams all over the boat, mostly standard draft of 1.6/8m which translates to 6 foot in freedom units. oh and then there's the little thing about going out in any weather, any place, any time, with (colloquially) no regards to sea state or wind. finally, having reliability and consistency of speed means you can calculate your travel times to the hour if you're meticulous enough.

Nice, I've never heard of the manufacturer but that's a boat that's going on my dream list, very nice. 👍❤️🇬🇧

Kady-Krogan's are super legit LRC. They don't get much attention because they don't come on the market that often.

If it’s competitors are Fleming and Nordhavn it seems ‘cheap’. Plenty of space and as I think you may have mentioned, storage everywhere! Great boat for plugging away and covering the ground.

Love it. Will you be doing a tour of the Nordhavn next to this one? The Kady-Krogan is one of the few I'd really think about getting.

Looks like those outboard engine sides would be really hard to get to. I'd prefer a single engine and get back engine over twins. The single would track much better as well.

Personally I would never cross an ocean in anything but an airplane or a cruise liner but you do you. Sailboats I still understand since they got big keels to keep them upright, but a 50 foot motor vessel? Yeah no way

@@bavarianrepair9490 But it doesnt offer any resistance against rolling unlike sailboat keels. Secondly at this size sailboats are much safer on oceans, theyre more seaworthy than these size motor vessels. Conditions which would be rough but not dangerous on a sailboat of similar size would have this boat in a near emergency situation.

Finally one without sails, this would suite me

Full displacement trawlers are the only yachts that make sense…aren’t you going to the ocean to relax and see the world at a pace where you can appreciate each location individually? If you wanna go fast take a plane. The ocean is meant to be savored slowly.

Most people with that budget are going to fly first class. You can sail across an ocean for free on a sub 5k sailboat. The EU is full of them.

You could cross, but would you? Nope, this one's too small for me.

5,000 miles at 6 knts, I would be suicidal!

Cameraman needs to make sure that you point the camera at what you are describing.
