@@CJ-lr4uq There are so many nuances in that statement, how you wanna define “drifting”, your own perspective on life. I’d say there’s clearly a difference between the actions a man like Andrew Tate takes that allow him to live how he does and people who don’t. But it’s not even necessary to talk about someone hyper successful like that. Someone who decides to get in shape and hit the gym also drastically changes their course than if they didn’t go. The end result of course being greater health, most importantly. If that’s an “illusion of control” then so what? You are still having a better experience of life than you would otherwise.

Your dollar means nothing. Your labor means nothing. If you are too pale you’ll never be first pick in the labor market. Women aren’t worth it because they can’t love you like they would Chad. Buying a house isn’t worth it because the taxes will delete you quicker than the mortgage. In order to be free, buy a Tesla Graphene powered tiny home with bug burgers, and a life sized Silicon Super Model. This is as good as it will ever be for a long time.

A tiny home is easily affordable and self sustaining because of future tech graphene batteries and a silicon girlfriend which only costs 2k, compared to the real things cost of 64k annually. Besides, What are you basing your "blackpill" denialism on? Black pill is where you could start to get a grip on reality i suppose. Do you have some white pill stats? Something that indicates an increase in birthrates besides rampant demographic murder committed by western governments to pack electoral power into their states and inflate the value of labor for corporations? Do you have stats on miraculously better mental health stats for men and women? Because when i look at the obvious stats the average IQ drop is far preferable to the madness thats consuming the western world at all levels. I am now enjoying the decline. Im content with reality and giving out free advice you can take. I have hope in a self sufficient tiny home and silicon bride. Feels good to have goals and know that things will work. If you deny whats true you'll make yourself an enemy to all thats true. Better to be prepared for storms than have them take you unawares.

We were taking Xanax as a 'time machine' to make the days go faster. It led to a lot of problems and even a suicide in the group. However, we jumped substances constantly benzos in general were cheaper and easier to get a hold of as opposed to real oxy or codeine. We did tons of molly too and we would mix the shit out of these drugs. Was hospitalized twice during the 2-year stunt. 6 months clean and I still think about xanax everyday because I simply forgot how to cope and my entire personality was about drugs. I couldn't talk about anything else but drugs... even with my parents I was so hooked on the culture. When I started working full time in a warehouse I was basically living in the matrix I was making all this money but I couldn't remember my days at all. benzos are so fuckd up man I feel like I'll never be able to feel 'good' experiences like that ever again without it. benzos will take everything good from you and make you suicidal

I think once you immerse yourself in the self improvement space it’s easy to assume that so many other people are taking that path, but it’s more complicated than that. Where most people fall flat is consistency. Sure the whole Tate and Hamza deal has a lot of new people in the space trying to “level up”, but how many of them are actually going to keep up with these habits for the long term, 5-10 years? And self improvement goes far beyond just building an aesthetic physique. What a lot of these men going incredibly hard into self improvement might not be getting is how sustainable some of these habits are, and I wouldn’t be surprised if I see another phase of extreme burnout coming within the next couple of years - but outside of that, the more people who pursue self improvement, the better. A rising tide raises all ships. If suddenly every average guy is improving themselves, then the normalization of discipline and self improvement will contribute to the rebuilding of community and deep societal connection. The obstacle to this of course is the ego of those people focusing solely on looksmaxing or gaining status. Self improvement should never be about getting ahead of everybody else. It should be about building a brighter world FOR everybody else, so it makes the process of self improvement easier for everyone. Life is not a zero sum game. What these social media platforms and popular media and elites try to tell you is that you need to screw over other people to get ahead, which is exactly how they stay in power. And the sooner we all adopt the abundance mindset and realize that there is enough for everyone and embrace this cosmopolitan ideal, the sooner we overcome this crisis of isolation and potentially prevent even greater crises in the future.

I think we underestimate how many people don't watch the sort of motivational/self improvement content that has become so commonplace on these platforms. That 15% number does not surprise me nor does the lack of self awareness in Gen Z. It seems to me that more people than you would expect just want to have fun and slide along. There will likely always be a market for it, but some will see this as unfulfilling and soul crushing, and they will stop using platforms like tiktok and youtube for anything more than just marketing. If I was a betting man, I would bet that there are so many young kids that have been poked by the manosphere that those platforms 5 years from now will be filled with almost exclusively self promotion and preexisting companies will struggle to find anyone to work. With everyone chasing big dollars, and starting their own companies, many will loose and crash. I wish only best of luck to you all ladies and gentlemen.

Yep, what is happening is people stopped believing in God. First, you start believing in God, then you can pursue whatever dreams you want to pursue. You need to have a foundation first. I bet the people who found God the earliest in life, will probably do alright. Otherwise, you just have to have mad talent AND be a strong person (that usually means having a good upbringing first, plus genetics). But who has those two attributes? A minority of people. Get with God people, get with God... Life just has too many cheap/unfulfilling temptations that will otherwise get you, and you cannot half-a.. stuff; just too much competition out there. Get rid of bad habits, ALL bad habits

I literally remember 2019 I’m playing league of legends all day and eating fuck ton of junk food. I was built like I get shoved in lockers for a living. Yet I was still talking to girls having them call me their soul mate and everything Fast forward 3 years I’ve been working out I got the abs put on a bunch of muscle changed up my hairstyle. I get glances from basically every girl and I can get a number whenever but nothing past that. Every time (7) I’m getting vaguely ghosted after we flirted irl just days before. I swear it’s just a different game now. Like you queue up in this self improvement lifestyle shit and everything is harder. My friends who just spend all day lounging smoking have girlfriends and I’m like that’s the craziest shit ever. Maybe I became too picky and need to lower standards idk but my lord it’s like no matter how much I improve the goal posts keep moving away. Doubt I’d ever stop going to the gym, reading, etc tho. I am thankful because at least I have something to keep aiming for.

Short, hispanic, tats everywhere, worked at a moving company as a grunt in his late twenties and lived out of his parents' garage. Has a long term girlfriend who saved his life. Dude took a xan that was laced and stopped breathing. His girlfriend, a training nurse, saved his life. LOL. He would have been dead as a door nail if one single factor was different. You make good points. They tell you you just need to put in effort, go to the gym, take care of yourself...but the truth is it's rarely enough. Yeah you will better yourself and that's great but it won't get you girls. They don't care. There's always guys who look better, have more money, jumped on gear to be more ripped...and even average girls get so much attention from simps that they think they're special and deserve a top 0.1% man. It's a fucked up situation and idk what can be done about it.

Bruv, i seen average looking, dumb, short and broke dudes pick up girls. Multiple. Even be in relationships, not just one time hooks ups. It's an effort/numbers game at the end of the day. Too many guys think they can circumvent that with self-improvement. You can self-improve until the cows come home, if you don't put yourself out there on as many social grids as you can and approach women with intent, it doesn't matter. No.1 rule is women don't have agency. Even if they are interestedz they will just stand there giggling and making dumb faces at best. At worse they will pretend to ignore you as a game to see if they can make you break character and chase harder. Not saying self-improvement has no effect in dating. It definitely raises your level, but it's like getting fcking shiny armor in a RPG game. It makes your defense better, looks better, but you still have to go into the dungeon and fight the goblins to get anywhere in the game. Just having that armor does nothing for your progress. The ugly, short, broke dudes just storm the dungeon with no equipment bare ass naked and still get to the end because they tried multiple times and respawned and develop the skill to navigate without getting hit (aka approach and game in the dating market). So yeah, playing the game is what you need to do. Not just grinding your equipment and then expecting things will happen by themselves.

With 8 billion people on earth you're sure to find some odd matchups here and there, but it doesn't prove that most girls don't care about getting the best possible man they can and vice versa. Second, the quality of those girls is questionable. I agree with you but at this point I've had my fun and I don't wanna waste time and money on dating and stuff unless it's a real deal which is so so rare to find. Superbad is also one of my favourites and I relate to your experience with feeling like that fun time in high school with my friends was taken from me, 2 years basically wasted at home. I am still in high school, so I still have fun with my friends, but still, 2 whole years is a lot. I am now nearing the end of high school so next year I am gonna try and spend as much time hanging with my friends and making new friends. I am scared of life after high school and possibly losing them, being busy with work and what not. That scene where jonah hill and michael cera just decide to have a sleepover and realise it'll probably be their last before college, really resonated with me. The wholesome ending where they get the girls and go their separate ways did indeed make me tear up a bit. I now have a new motivation to go to school, not because I want to learn, but because I want to hang out with my friends for 6 hours a day, and maybe even hang out after school, when is the next time I get to do that? I doubt ever again.

You are looking in the right direction, gerbert. You are straying away from *needing* validation in the form of friends and women (which is making you a better person to be around, an individual, but still cognizant of the fact that you would like to have connection). You are finally sounding hopeful, as if everything will turn out okay, whatever the outcome may be.

At this point my life and death scale are completely inverse. Life just seems like misery while death is a release from it all. What is there after you become successful? Live a life of debauchery? Seek some higher enlightenment? It feels like I am subconsciously hindering my progress because I'm scared of what happens when you have nothing left to work for. Just some of my current thoughts as of my current state of mind. Who knows, I might completely change along the way. We will see I guess.

I think this move to a more digital world has seriously disconnected us from friends and family. We don’t even know who lives next to us anymore, everybody just stays inside. I think spending time with community really is central to our happiness as humans. In my case at least, I don’t see the point in ending it when I still have my family to help and strong and successful kids to raise.

I really love your thought process, Gerb. I think that Society is too focused on achievements. You can enjoy life and be content with what you have. I understand that the global situation is not so great (housing market is a total scam, dating scene is a joke etc.). Sometimes you can look at the rat race and think to yourself - is this what life is all about? You look around and see the crowd cheering/booing, you notice fellow runners and shit. Life in a moment. You can admire what is already here and make life unique and fun for yourself. Be creative and explore. Of course - with a boring ass, low pay job - less is available. But - with all of the commotion - where is the time to just - be? Family, status, dates - all is great. Those however, bring lots and lots of stress and responsibility. It's not all black and white. Just my view. I admire your special voice on KZread. Lots of love to you and all the wonderful people watching!
