I actually found this person initially from a bagpipe jazz solo! She's got so much unique talent and has a great personality as well!

Non-brass players don't understand how fucking impressive this is. At the end, when she plays a high C, a G, and a low C, they are all open finger, meaning she needs to have 3 separate buzzing frequencies going at once. This is nuts

mum: we have a trumpet section at home the trumpet section: To do this you essentially have to create a different embouchure in each part of your mouth. The right side playing the low notes is more open than the middle playing the high notes. The left side plays the middle voicings.

Guitarist here, it doesn't take even a musician to know that sounding good on 3 instruments at once is hard to do.

“I can play multiple instruments” “Oh cool which ones?” “The trumpet”

I mean, it sounds like an interdimensional jazz ghost is about to enter the bar but she did make it work.

I mean, having good tone with 3 separate trumpets playing 3 different notes is damn near impossible. Good job!

I remember CroonerEd pretending to do this with two trumpets as a joke. Never thought I’d live to see someone do it for real, much less throw an extra trumpet in there.

There was once a night club act in Mexico who played two trumpets.The act was fairly long. not just a short novelty bit. The tempo varied. His big finish was to play two well known pjeces at once. But I have seen better. The leader of the Circo Suarez band, when circuses had bands played two saxophones for most of the two hour show. How he handeled the fingering of two two handed instruments I will never know.

This is where one would say "Challenge Accepted" or "Hold my trumpet. I'm gonna end this conductor's career"

The fact that she was able to change her lip movement and pressure against the mouthpiece in three separate areas which changes the pitch and tone at a continously fluctuating rate is nothing short of a once in 4-5 generational talent.

This is probably the most impressive musical performance I have ever seen. A long time ago I watched someone play a note on each of two trumpets at the same time, but this surpasses it by far with independent coordinated notes on three trumpets.

I wonder how she discovered she could do this… I mean not everyone wakes up one day and is like oh I can play 3 trumpets at the same time

I don’t play brass, I play saxophone but I have a friend who is brass. And honestly this is really impressive when you think about it. (I don’t exactly know how playing brass instruments work but I do know it can be really bloody annoying at time)

Brass instruments don’t vibrate on their own, so you have to manually vibrate it using your lips. Buzzing your lips gives vibration to the instrument, allowing it to make noise that isn’t just blowing air. I play french horn by the way lol

Give her more credit. I've seen high school bands do just as well. And there were a dozen of them all with only one trumpet.
