I do see significant other, employee and other positions an option... No, you don’t have to be a nurse. Being a nurse helps but you don’t even have to be in healthcare.

@@triciathomasrn9529 , thanks for responding. Currently, the state of MN only pays $19/to PCA agencies, and the agency must pay the workers $16. But this is Medicaid, not private pay. That amount is disgustingly low. Anyhow, thanks for the information. I find it very helpful.

Don't you have to pay the Aid pay out of that?

It differs, it depends on your pricing, the amount of clients you have and the hours you care for them. There is not definite or guaranteed amount of money.
