CEO MADE $120 MILLION FROM HEALTHCARE

Tommy Duncan grew up in the healthcare industry, with his partners owning the only black-owned hospital in Detroit. After they fell on hard times and lost the business, he became an entrepreneur in the health space. He moved up the ladder quickly in the field and sold his first company in his 20s for $1.5 million. Years later, he sold his second healthcare company for $120 million.
Most recently, he made news by starting a low-cost-subscription healthcare company called Jetdoc. Rick Ross is a main investor in the company, investing over one million dollars into the venture. He has also been a public advocate for the revolutionary business model.
On episode 155, Tommy broke down the trillion dollar healthcare industry, and he explained the process of selling his company for over $100 million. He also detailed the angles of government contracting that can make entrepreneurs rich, and he outlined a plan to decrease health expenses by helping the homeless. #healthcare #jetdoc #rickross #tommyduncan

This was eye opening. I took away two things: 1) Marginalized groups are huge profit, even when managing corporations making the profit operate at a mediocre level. 2) Doing the work no one else wants to do for marginalized groups can also be immensely profitable.

Great concepts. Government...funding changes from the bottom up based on spending of allocated funds. Allocated funds aren't spent signals a need to decrease funding and move funds elsewhere. Policies change top down. Legislators create and change policies based on the impacts to their careers and financial gain. Thier cronies don't want to change how the system works. They are right PACs. It's bigger than the governors. There are alot of money to keep people sick. 💯

It's only available in Florida. And they're working on being able to order labs. I lost my job due to the pandemic and went months without medical insurance. If this was in Maryland, I would have jumped on it. Granted, I'd have to figure out lab work, but I definitely see the value in Jetdoc - keep at it Tommy and bring it to Maryland. I was't convinced that you want to grow and scale. This would be ideal for budding entrepreneur's who fear leaving their jobs because of medical insurance.

Reason why you never hear them mention the price with who ever is on but it’s never under at least a rack

The fact that you claiming Scramps as your man but wouldn’t even give the trailer any props kinda said it all that and the silly smirk he had on his face it was like “THAT SH*T WAS TRASH” and now let’s hurry up and get on with this interview. IDK I could be totally wrong I’m just saying if a dude I call my homeboy invited me to come to the crib and checkout a movie trailer that he was involved with making and I know he crazy exited over his latest big accomplishment. I’m gonna show love when I do my show and use my platform to help promote the homie. This dude ain’t say jack. And don’t get it twisted Dame got about 16 flicks I think that he has been involved with in some capacity either directly or indirectly and if we’re keepin it all the way real💯 they all were pretty much “BOMBS” Paid in Full is probably the only one I’d ever sit down for and that’s mostly because I’m from Harlem and can relate to some of that story line from the 80’s crack era in New York. But I don’t even wanna bring up State Property and the other 13 or 14 Dame flicks that followed my point is that if I’m calling you my man my good friend then good bad or ugly I’m gonna hold it down and use my platform to make sure you get that free promo to help him put his project on the map which is what I thought EYL was supposed to be abt
