Spread that around. Encourage your associates to do the same. Morehouse is not the only institution to have educational interest in Black education and growth. I'm from 1967 Detroit Michigan a Covenant area. You didn't need a degree to live middle class. Further, ask yourself this question. Did George Washington come to America to get a degree? No it was for freedom and liberty first, any fool can earn a degree. Here we are again 😮

Very great gesture. Now have him and his friends and associates and the foundations etc. Encourage other Black Entrepreneurs etc, to raise money for building a Black owned Hospital. There's only one left in America brother. I contribute my time efforts contacts and support to not only this effort but others as well. We must help us first. Jim Crow has only been gone since 1967. It can return. Your degree and education will not save you if it does. Resources will. I could go on but many of our people think they have arrived. Not yet.

I don't care what anybody says...THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST IMPORTANT INTERVIEW DONE BY THE EYL TEAM! Hats off to EVERYONE at EYL that made this possible. And to Mr. Smith for being gracious enough to honour their invitation. He's no flash-in-the-pan-here-today-gone-tomorrow guy. He's not some dude who is on the Forbes list and lost his billions because of delusions of grandeur, ignorant talk and was "cancelled". He didn't do it through sports and entertainment either. He has power and the respect of people who may not even like him for his colour. He can articulate and enunciate words without looking like a sellout. And he isn't into the tomfoolery. Most of the community didn't even know about this guy until the Morehouse incident. I'm just saying...we need to pay MORE attention to guys like this and how they've been able to play at these stratospheric levels for so long.

America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life too 🙏🙏🙏

Not their job to lift up dead weight. If black America was smart they would fully get behind a brilliant man such as Robert Smith. Also a lot of our people don't want to put in the work, or go to school to gain the knowledge, you ask a young blaq person what they want to be and they'll say a rapper, athlete, youtuber, social media "influencer". What a brilliant mind? I can't get enough of listening to R. Smith talk, his inspiring approach, and his innovative and critical thinking. A great teacher, too. Excellent interview.

Shout out to the entire EYL team for bringing this to the viewers. It was very informative, and I learned a lot, but more importantly, it allowed me to comprehend even more that I (WE) have to continue to educate. I'm going to also share this with my 24yr old son who Graduated from Tuskegee as a Mechanical Engineer, hoping it will ignite something in him as did for me. I can go on and on about the brilliance of this episode, but I'll conclude here. Thanks again.

Robert Smith and I are the same age, i grew up in the SF Bay Area as a technologist and he has done several things that I wanted to do but i had a couple of road blocks in my way. life is short and i'm glad to see someone like me with an engineering background using his mind to be a blessing to our community. One Love.

Powerful interview. I am a big fan of EYL, but this really hit home. As someone who obtained their six sigma green belt earlier this year, Mr. Smith was definitely talking my language. Love this so much. The conversations around student loans and HBCUs hit home as well. Just powerful.....Thanks EYL and Mr. Smith. You definitely inspired me a lot.

Great personality. Very humble and extremely knowledgeable. The wisdom he was dispensing is priceless. The hosts seemed a little intimidated by him, which is understandable, especially when he was explaining the efficiency curve and dropped some of the engineering terms. He reminded me of a director I worked under for 10 years (not currently). He was an African American as well and one of the most intelligent ppl I have ever worked with or for. I had the opportunity to watch him in the boardroom with the CEO, CIO, COO, and CFO explaining complex technological solutions to them using highly professional and targetted language (Similar to Mr. Smith, he was highly educated as well). We would then go out to lunch just our team and he would talk trash to you, use slang words and crack jokes. I was always fascinated by how easy it was for him to handle both environments and the ease by which he would make the shift and I told him that. We the subordinates all loved and respected him and still do. I was very close with him during my time at the company and we stayed in touch. You see that confidence Mr Smith exudes when he is talking and explaining???? My director had that too. It is just amazing to experience.

I graduated grad school with an MBA in finance 2010. I’ve been looking for these nuggets Mr. Johnson is providing on M&A ever since I graduated, and that information so hard to find for us minorities coming out of the public school system. I am so glad that he included that information regarding M&A on your platform.
