Karl made a good call to turn down 6 million in favor of expansion. His company already nets 2.4 million out of their 12 million annual revenue, so it makes sense to not throw away such a business at the expense of receiving roughly a 2 year income in advance. Well executed 👍.

@33:45 He dropped a bomb that was missed. Going public allows you to use stock to acquire companies. To quote Daymond John “We need to be buying businesses not burning them down.” This brother’s company is worth at least $60million to a publicly traded firm. READ THAT AGAIN!

Another awesome interview. I wanted to add to this that I saw an estimate that only 9.9% of nurses are African American. We are about 13% of the population so there is PLENTY of room and need for more of us in the field. We need representation at the bedside. So if you are thinking about healthcare, come on in!

It's only 9.9% ... it doesn't feel that way in NY and SE Florida. But once you factor in all the states I can see that being the case. I met with a director of Radiology that only had 1.5% representation. 200 employees and 3 black techs and she was one of them. What we determined is more needs to be done on the high-school level to mentor, tutor, and financially support the next generation.
