I love watching your process. I fall into the trap of thinking I have to start with a fully formed idea. Watching you reminds me that I should spend more time brainstorming before I start on a piece. And your problem-solving while you sketch out the piece is very helpful to see. Your painting is great, I love how happy and carefree she looks.

KZreadrs get to pick where the midroll ads go and you can see she just plopped one there without thinking. KZreadrs like TheRightOpinion really take time incorporating the ad into the video which is way nicer to watch because it shows an added element of care and it's not randomly abruptly cutting something up. So yeaahhh thats what you guys might beore used to!

You can stop the wood from bleeding if you put a layer of sealant on it first (i.e. clear or white gesso, spray sealant, liquitex liquid varnish) you have options to make it white or clear or whatever you want! Acrylic paint would work too, but youd lose the grain of the wood. Just an idea if you wanted to use wood again!

I took a street art class once in high school, the teacher was cool and he definitely recommends using name tags and so on for small tag art because it's less damaging to whatever you put it on

So the other day by accident I found out you can treat the pain markers like actual paint. I was at work doing something with them and a little water got in a drip of paint I brushed it away and it worked like a thin paint. I dont know if that is a helpful tip or not. A happy little accident as mister Bob Ross would say.

Yeah, posca pens are water soluble (I think that's the right term) so you could use them more of like a watercolor paint. You could make colors lighter and even mix them without having to blend them on your final art piece.

I have a friend who used them together with watercolours to create a sort of space painting. It looked really cool, but the Posca pens ended really quickly though...

I find that poscas work best on cotton paper, preferably sized. Also, blending wet paint with your fingers helps stop and pilling. It's really good to a bunch of little dots instead of strokes and then blend them with your fingers.

If Posca’s logo were to become a person, your little girl drawing is what it’s manifested as.

I feel like the more time you spend planning the better your already great art gets (this is a prime example)

I was just concepting an OC of mine during this. Her name is Alyssa and she’s a total Sagittarius. She’s part of a total of six OCs who are all like sisters. They have a very dark back story though (involving being held captive for twelve years) but they’re free now and I’m having fun with their personalities. Rn I’m loving Alyssa and her overalls 😍
