I saw a really interesting drawing prompt that I thought I should share with you: Step 1: shuffle your playlist Step 2: design a character based on the first song that plays Step 3: design a character from the second song that plays Step 4: the third song is their relationship. With all the fun people you draw I thought this would be a fun exercise in creativity.

Karen McDonald I decided to see what would happen if I took on that prompt. My first song was “Warrior” By Beth Crowley, Second song was “Divide” by Jeff Williams featuring Casey Lee Williams, And then my third song was “March of Cambreadth.” So I have a woman who wants to be taught how to fight by this bloodthirsty captain (who is also a woman) and I think they both want to murder each other.

I like doing colouring books that don't have a drawing on the direct after page, not double sided, in colouring books so it doesn't go through I put scrap paper in between. Quite good if you can't draw.

@Timothy Wolford don't be to sure. I've been drawing an eye for a month. Depends on size, what your drawing with and also your experience. It's not that straightforward when you do art. You may take ages doing something and it will look good although u may do a quick sketch but have it look more effective. You may take ages doing something although it's simple. Doesn't mean u havent put in effort. So why don't u stop judging people and think before u type

Minnie Bubble yep, I totally agree! I also like how her subscribers are all really nice. Some KZreadrs have really toxic comment sections (because internet and anonymity), but I’ve found that there’s a lot of love and support here which is so nice. I think a lot of that is down to Rin’s positive, happy, nice vibes.

I’ve never owned sharpies the first markers I had were the classic crayola markers when I was five but when I turned ten at Christmas I realised I wanted more markers cause my crayolas had ran out by that point so I looked up some good markers and found copics so I asked for Copic markers for Christmas and I got my first 12 set they were good but after a couple months I ran out of different ways to blend them but it was coming up to Christmas again so I asked for some more copics and then I got a 36 set and I was so happy it had greys skin tones earthy tone light tones dark tones so I have been having such a great experience with copics but then I realised if I have learnt so many new tricks with markers and developed my style as well so I am deciding to buy the same crayola set that I got so many years ago and I can’t wait to go to the shop to get them. And one last thing you don’t need fancy art supplies in life to be good just practise sure I’ve been practising for six years with markers but when I first got markers I didn’t have access to the internet but now all of you do so you could develop so much faster so remember that you don’t need any fancy supplies and that was proven in this video so I suggest that if you can or ask your guardian to buy some of the markers you got when you were young or any art supply you had and try your new tricks with them it will be a good experience I know it will be so try it out. Yessss finally someone who relates! Everytime I bring a sharpie into school, everyone is just like crazy and some of them never return it back. Since then, i never saw my pink and bkue sharpies ever again.

She was probably high at the end of filming, 6th graders aren't very mature so we like to make high jokes alot and sharpies are very excessable in a classroom especially during science work time when we are outlining posters 😂 aka how my school day went down two weeks ago. Edit- btw we weren't sniffing the sharpies but we were putting them up to our noses with caps on and making that really obnoxious sound when you have a cold and decide it's a good idea not to grab a tissue and just snuff.

Don’t worry, noses are hard to draw. I’m a artist and I still can’t draw a good nose. Although I didn’t really practice on drawing noses. It also depends on your art style, if you keep practicing you will get better I promise!

I actually use crayons to colour, because they are similar to pencils in the sense that they need a lot of layering to be bright, which helps heaps with shading, and they don't shine like pencils. I also love the smell of crayons, whenever I pull them out, they just make me happy.

If you don’t want the sharpie to stain the next page (or maybe also over) you could rip out or get one sheet of paper and put it under the page you’re coloring. That’s what I do when I use a sketchbook!

I love the name Starburst it's super cute.

I used to use Sharpies to do abstract art. I did a lot of circles with designs in them. Turned out pretty cool. Now I want to do a bunch of fairies thanks to you. LOVE

Try doing studies! I saw a video of her doing one on men and some different poses. Keep it simple, nothing needs to be perfect. Look at reference images on Google, Instagram, Pintrest, etc. Try to follow the basic shapes and curves of the pose. Don't know how to draw that hand? Just make it a block for now. Fill up a couple of pages with different poses in different sizes. And have fun!

I bought a book that’s from marvel but it’s goes over comic book super hero stances. It taught me how to do more dynamic poses but also capture better movement.

Would you suggest Sharpies as a cheap marker alternative? I really want some markers but the cheapest ones aren’t very good. :P

Shadow Wolf i would, im pretty sure there are brush nibs for sharpies as well. sharpies also have a lot of pigmentation and vary in a lot of color obviously, but i do believe shading will take a lot more effort or technique. on another note, sharpies also bleed through so thick paper would be a requirement which might ne costly
