Dionysus and Hades were both pretty convincing, but I think Hades sounded the most aggressive.

#teamDionysus but I really believe everyone just chose their beetle in this competition. It should have been a blind voting system where we got a number with the beetle sound instead of a name to make it more fair. Loved the video anyway. Great work!

I had the same issue; their hisses sound more cute than scary to me

Kind of wish dismissed beetles were kept around to watch the event to the end and got a taste of the jelly for one night

I said it once and ill say it again Dionysus definitely had the scariest hiss

Was rooting for Aries in the beginning, but due to elimination, I'm now rooting for Hades. He was so close to at least reaching third.

If you wanna be fair here is the amount of stridulations counted one by one. Hades 22 Dionysus 20 Hephaestus 15 Poseidon 12. Hades and Dionysus were the loudest and combine long and short stridulations mostly long and strong ones. Hephaestus does the same but mostly short.

I'm a new subscriber and I know this is way late, but I think antscanada should've covered the beetles so we dont know which one made the sound. That way bias is prevented as people will most likely vote for the team they're on to ensure that their beetle doesn't get eliminated.😁

It is always disappointing to see yet another beetle games video and not an ant one has been uploaded, I personally find the ant videos a lot more interesting and while I can understand AntsCanada wanting to create more diverse content it seems a shame that it has to be at the cost of an ant video, still I suppose the games videos will be over soon and we will be back to normal

Scariest beetle was definitely Dionysus. 15/10 would run the other direction if I heard that in nature.

Poseidon - Sounds like he is bored. Hephaestus - More like "squeaking" than stridulation. Still a good try, but a bit too high Dionysus - Kinda a bit like electricity, but at the same time kinda a hiss from a mammal. Hades - SNEK hiss, sneks are really intimidating, if you do not expect a beetle coming, you could have easily mistaken it for a snake.

Ashley Adcock I see their point; it’d be more fair by not disclosing the names. There’s bias to your gladiator, after all. Keeping anonymity keeps things more fair, as then people don’t just vote for their gladiator.

Agreed. We have inate bias. I try not to be but it kicked in. Then I biased against my gladiator. Had to replay that section multiple times to try to find a way to grade the stridulating to rule out bias. Lol but he did say it's an idol style competition and most shows like that come doen to straight popularity.

For me, Dionysus created the most terrifying hiss. It is like a screeching of nail from a chalk board while the other three sounded like cat hissing 😑. #TeamDionysus💜

Go #TeamHephaestus -- The stridulation contest was unfair. People will just vote for their favorite. Iit doesn't have any common variables like distance from mic and how they were coaxed into 'hissing'. Also the sound of the stridulation was about the same to my ears.

I've learned so much about various and more to nature habitat kept insectoids. to mass identify. lol. some don't need queens,multiples on others. food varieties. just awesome. still backing and liked my team pick as singer because as third contestant it wasn't just continuous hiss it had a pronounced sonar punch. like a zapping. can be startling.

#TeamHades was on par if not better than Dionysus. Longer and more powerful stridulations that would definetly scare the predator if encohntering that hiss.

His strength and size helped him beat zuz. It was so one sided Hades didn't even wake up tell it was over.
