Well said. It's so sad how many people listen to Joel Osteen and are fed boarder line heresy. He has such an opportunity to share the gospel and so often misses that opportunity. Where is Christ in any of his messages? We are totally deprived worthless humans who are made righteous only through Christ, we indeed are not enough and will never be enough except through Christ.

Bill From Accounting Human beings are not “worthless” as you stated. We were made in the image of God Himself. He valued us so much that He gave his only Son as a ransom for us. This is why we should value ourselves as well as others with the same love that Jesus has for each of us. We are “fearfully & wonderfully” made and extremely valuable to God who paid the highest price possible to redeem us. It is not wrong to value ourselves. What is wrong is to value ourselves more than others. This is one reason why Jesus told us in so many colorful ways to “love our neighbor as we love ourself”. You are loved & valued by God. I am loved & valued by God. Joel Osteen is loved & valued by God. Every human being who has ever lived has been loved & valued by God. “While we were yet sinners...” we were still loved & valued by God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that human beings are considered “worthless”. If we were worthless as you say, there would be no point in God’s redemption plan. God values YOU greatly my friend! Believe that! Since God loves you, it is certainly ok for you to love yourself and it is also valid to say that He has equipped you with “enough” as a person in the place that you are to fulfill the destiny He has for you. In Christ YOU ARE ENOUGH!

@@ironinthefire1 Bro We are on the same page here. You got very hung up on the one word that I was not sure about, perhaps worthless was the wrong word. But the whole point of what I said was that is is only through Christ. We are not nearly enough until Christ intercedes on our behalf, he is enough and only through him are we enough. That's all I was trying to draw attention to because Joel Olsteen doesn't acknowledge Christ and all these people might dangerously walk away missing that point

Please help pray for my daughter, she worked for more than a decade and was not hired regular, very qualified for the position 2016 when her uncle/immediate superior involved her in a corruption in the office till now accusations are still active, please pray the envolve persons will be exposed the soonest and my daughter will be given a chance for the regular position in any government agencies.

Ephesians 2: 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved. We are all sinners and that will never change for our time on earth. We are all dead in sin. We are NOT enough. The true gift the Lord gives is not our looks, intelligence and abilities- although they are as all things gifts from the Lord. The true gift is his only begotten Son who lived a sinless life and died for our transgressions so that we may be saved. Any sermon that lacks the Gospel message is dangerous. I pray for all those in attendance, followers elsewhere and Joel himself. I pray that you all may be delivered from this inward, self centered and evil message and focus on the true gift, the Gospel. John 3:16

When one compares themselves to others they always lose,because when you compare yourself to another person, you compare yourself inside- out yet with another party you can only see the out and never fully the out and inside. As humans, spirit beings we have ability to grow,hence the word of God hence motivational speeches and most importantly positive thinking and affirmation... We can be who we want to be , we already are... The soul knows nothing about time... It's about feeding yourself good(mental and Spiritual food, which produces a healthy mind and spirit) and allowing that "food" to radiate outwardly. We are Gods master pieces us all.

The sermon is great but hard to swallow because some were surrounded by negative and critical people whether in family or social adaptation outside of home and too much of it makes us believe we are lacking etc.😞 It takes the Holy Spirit to helps us out through this👍🥂

Faith Grace，thank you for your kindness and good heart to people, but life full of stories, no matter what we think. Positive thoughts doesn’t lead us to be successful. There are not very many disciples were successful according to today’s standard. Many died for witnessing their faith. I am surprised so many are ignorant to the Bible today. What happened to Apostle Paul, Peter, James and Stephen? We suffer from other people’s mistakes and our own mistakes. When the sea roars, snares around, wolves attacking, His grace is enough for me. True faith doesn’t Guarantee good life, it encourages us face reality instead. Everybody can quote the Bible, even Satan does that. Rich young ruler walked away with sorrow because he had much wealth. It is so interesting to see many walk away to the cross and embrace riches today. (I don’t mean rich is a curse. It could be a blessing or temptation.) Who cares if I am awesome or not. We are all sinners which requires serious penalty. We all fall short of His glory. Success is not my redemption. What others think about me is not my redemption. Jesus and His death on the cross is my only concern.

Praying for my mom. For her not to be so hard on me. My mom thought I was lying about me being sick because I didn’t go to work one morning. turns out I had to get my appendix out. She said sorry but. I don’t really know what to besides maybe tell her that I’m not a kid anymore and she can’t control me as much as she used too. I’m 19 years old. Pray for me for the strength to tell my mom in the nicest way possible that she can’t treat me and the people who literally gave her almost everything she has now never that same way ever again. This ministry really helps motivate me. I really needs joel osteen in my life. God is Good all the time. God brings me here to listen his ministry. I felt enlightened and relaxed everytime i heared this.

I pray for strength for those who need it. And increase for those who lack. I thank you my father because I KNOW ITS ON IT WAY!!!! BREAK EVERY CHAIN!!!!!!
