But he just spends his time doing boring and pointless stuff and learned to like It. Thats why when his family is relieved of their jobs and stuff they become jobless turds like Jerry, except theyre not pathetic as Jerry neither as cool as Rick, and they wonder how Jerry can spend that much time without being useful or procastinating.

Its a gentrification masterclass In fairness to Rick, the reasons dowries exist is reproof of competency and by extension fruitfulness. If you can't indicate even at the base level that you have some mastery over the universe, you existence is categorically generic Presumably, a descendent of a monumental figure is going to want a bit of zest in their future, which is what marriage should reveal. After all, women are variants of their father that are a little less brash. They want to keep his adventure going through offspring so they tend to be attracted to men who outpace their father in some way. Youth, bravado, etc

Jerry really owned season 6 for sure.

i like jerry I always root for him. He is the only one in the whole family who accepts who he is and in spite of all the shit hees been through he never ever took it out on the family.

He kind of does more than them though. He does it in a passive aggressive way. It is not as bad as it was in the early seasons but just 3 episodes ago but spelling out how he planned to off himself if Beth ever left him is kind of an example of it. The others at least own their toxic elements but he still seems in denial about his. The best thing to say though is that whether intentionally or not he is doing it less often than in previous seasons.

@@evanhambrook5485 Feel like he's getting better 🤔 In S1/2, even if you call Jerry out on these passive aggressive stuff, he will deny it. Divorce arc alien GF is the first time he owned up his BS after being called out by his kids. Then the Christmas EP where he tried his best to beat the floaty situation (while the intention was to set Rick up, but you can tell he really didn't wanna ask for help cos he wanna prove himself) Yea, S6 Jerry used suicide as bail to make Beth stay or sth, but I feel like S1/2 Jerry would never own it up. Jerry sees himself acting wrong and tries to improve, and I think that's very great. It's still a work in progress, so B+ on the continuous efforts🙏🏼

@@evanhambrook5485 he then says later in the episode I didn't mean that I'm just going to go to my room and cry about it like I always do xD also being passive aggressive isn't as bad as summers direct roast of him and how every other member of the family just unleashed a brutal personal attack on him when they were having a shit day. Reminding his family thet he was hurt by them is totally fair but you never saw him go "my cheating bitch wife, my stereotypical shallow teenage daughter! My retarded son!", just to hurt them on purpose. Original Jerry roasted Morty only after Morty ACTUALLY DESTROYED their family. He screamed at rick for Destroying his family In the only time he ever lashed out directly at someone. He doesn't lash out at them to hurt them on purpose. The only time he ever did was when his family gets destroyed. The Christmas freakout wasn't him being mean it was him being hurt because the image of his family wasn't what he thought for his entire life the image he based his own relationship with his family on no doubt. Also original Jerry was only telling the truth to Morty.

This season is the real rise of Jerry (He had his moments before, but this one's going Jerry's way all the way as a character)

This entire season so far is just wins for Jerry. After 5 seasons of being the punching bag this is his season

Nah every episode starts with shitting on him this season but each one has been him having Ws, he landed a touch on prime Rick, something c-137 hasn’t, Jerry was one of the only wins on thanksgiving, he was right the whole time of cookie episode, he saved everyone from the night family if not for Rick being stubborn, he is a W and always has been

The moment Rick took over Jerry's been in retirement. That's why he doesn't actively "look" for work anymore. No point and he knows rick or space beth can just find stuff in space or another universe. Kick back and do what makes "you" happy, not others.

We need a follow up on this scene >_>

The follow up is this he had writen a full ass book in his computer about it and later it became a Best seler but dint get à slic of crédit for it because of the 🦖

This season has done the impossible: made me love Jerry.
