Rick literally gets a job to spite Summer and that job un-curses the Devil’s cursed items just to spite him. And for a cherry on top when the Devil gives up Rick burns down his shop. The guy lives just to spite people. The funniest shit I’ve seen all day.

Even the Devil called Rick "diabolical".

can we all take a moment to appreciate that Rick was called "diabolical" by the literal Devil? The Devil himself called him as evil and black-hearted as himself. that's a pretty good compliment ngl

This "Devil" calls himself the Devil, says he's lived for centuries, and expects to be able to go back to a "Hell". Meanwhile, there are also afterlives, at least Floop Floopians have a hell, even if some of them don't have evidence for their heaven. And of course, there are countless ways for Ricks whole reality being "fake" or orchestrated, or created by some powerful being. The Central Finite Curve might just be a subsection of a big storage unit of miniverses, in which case their God would be the manufacturer or manager or just the electrician of the miniverses. It could all just be a really good simulation, in which case their God might just be a much better version of the Zigerion scammers. Maybe it's all just someone's game (Roy / Story Train) or maybe a dream, or maybe it's just an ad. Most likely it's a cartoon made by some guy named Dan Harmon. Or you could call Rick C-137 a "god" based on him creating a wall around a subset of infinite universes, usually doing whatever he wants, and even defeating the Devil, a Zeus, and countless other god-like beings (including thousands of himselves). It would all depend upon your definition of "god", really. Sure, there might not be any definitive evidence towards there being a God or a Devil in Rick and Morty, but saying that there aren't any clues, and saying that "there is no Devil in Rick and Morty" when there clearly are, is just ignorant and obnoxious.

I like Summer in this episode because it reminds me of when Summer wasn't trying to be like Rick.

After re-watching this, it feels like Rick is under the impression that the devil simply cannot make an item without a terrible curse attached to it. Like he treats it as a side effect that the devil is too lazy to work out instead of that being the whole point of what the devil is doing.

When the Devil himself calls Rick diabolical, you know Rick isn't someone to be messed around with.

I love out of all the intense fights Rick has been in, he ends up slap fighting the devil 😂

Technically the Devil struck first trying to trick Rick with the cursed microscope, he asked for everything that followed.

I love the detail they put on the "so what?" From summer. Both the devil and Rick don't agree with her irresponsibility

*Summer finds the Devil hanging in the store, cuts him loose* Summer: “why’d you do that!?” Needful: “I may be the Devil but your grandfather IS the Devil! Maybe I’ll just go back to Hell where everyone thinks I’m funny and smart.”
